The question was “is it rape”. I know someone who was molested as a kid and only told someone as an adult because they were confused and scarred from it. That still “counts” as rape.

You’ve made good points. I need to look further into it to come to a more educated opinion. Thanks for the input. At the end of the day you’re right. If there’s no need, then there’s no harm waiting until they can make the choice themselves. Similar to how I will not have my kids baptized, but if they decide to when they get older good for them.

All of them. In fact men should be castrated at birth because they are evil. Like why the hell do you think I’m on this sub. I agree with 99% of it, I just think that there’s some medical arguments to be made especially when many credible, educated medical professionals talk about it.

The two things that are cut in MGM and FGM are not even close to similar. Cutting the foreskin vs cutting the clitoris. You have to at least give me that one is worse than the other...

I guess it depends on how you define genital mutilation. Surgery by definition is “cutting” so I guess I was pretty thankful for my genital mutilation that I needed when I was five because of a medical issue.

Someone back me up here? Maybe I’m just missing something but there seems to be a difference between 1) proper surgery to minimize bacterial growth and prevent UTIs and STDs that has no consequences when done CORRECTLY in a sterile and professional environment and 2) archaic practices that essentially amount to female castration. I love this sub, but guys let’s make sure we’re not falling in to the same pit of self victimizing grandeur as the other side.
