I should have been polite but I can't imagine working hard in Ph.D (8 to 10 years) just to face bunch of trolls. It must suck for her. Lines of code doesn't mean anything at all. GUI and data transferring would use the most lines of code. Algorithms are usually less than 100 lines of codes but they are the hardest and in this case, the most important.
