| 1 | White male scientist slams sexist trolls using his work on black hole project for 'sexist vendetta' against Katie Bouman, the researcher who worked on the crucial algorithm that led to capturing the first-ever image of a black holeIf it's such good advice maybe you would follow it too. But I understand the subject. That's what I'm studying. | /r/MensRights | 13/04/19 04:57 PM |
| 0 | White male scientist slams sexist trolls using his work on black hole project for 'sexist vendetta' against Katie Bouman, the researcher who worked on the crucial algorithm that led to capturing the first-ever image of a black holeActually, I've been part of large project team before. Guess what? Not everyone is doing the major stuff. Majority are just zoo keepers. Let's say you are making Minecraft and you need to fill the visible area with blocks. You need to invent an algorithm to solve this problem. If successful, you want the algorithm inventor to get credit for it, not DirectX12, the Operating System or the CPU. Katie Bouman developed an algorithm known as Continuous High-resolution Image Reconstruction using Patch … | /r/MensRights | 13/04/19 04:36 PM |

How about walk away without caring? I mean.. you don't understand, right? So why not just walk away? Do you ever go into surgeon room and tell the surgeon if his methods are correct or not? Do you? | /r/MensRights | 13/04/19 03:41 PM |
| 0 | White male scientist slams sexist trolls using his work on black hole project for 'sexist vendetta' against Katie Bouman, the researcher who worked on the crucial algorithm that led to capturing the first-ever image of a black holeI suggest you checking the source code and see for yourself. Andrew isn't ML and CV scientist. He is astronomer while She is. The purpose of this project was to take a picture of black hole, which is the duty of ML and CV scientist (Computer Scientist). Also more codes != more contribution. Algorithms is what matters and she did it by herself. | /r/MensRights | 13/04/19 03:03 PM |

I suggest you to check the Harvard page. You have the info but you still doesn't want to check.. huh | /r/MensRights | 13/04/19 02:18 PM |
| 0 | White male scientist slams sexist trolls using his work on black hole project for 'sexist vendetta' against Katie Bouman, the researcher who worked on the crucial algorithm that led to capturing the first-ever image of a black holeIt doesn't mean anything. Any programmer would know this.. It doesn't tell us the work that went into it.. huh Algorithms takes the longest to invent (even 2 to 3 years) but they are usually less than 100 lines of code. Are we seriously debating this?? Really?! Go to any programming forum and tell them your delusional theory and see what they have to say. Let's be honest here. None of you here have actually read and understood the code."Line of code" LOL EDIT: WOW! Downvoting me for speaking the… | /r/MensRights | 13/04/19 11:34 AM |
| 1 | White male scientist slams sexist trolls using his work on black hole project for 'sexist vendetta' against Katie Bouman, the researcher who worked on the crucial algorithm that led to capturing the first-ever image of a black holeHow does one tell which things to believe and which to disbelieve? By not having opinions on things that you don't understand. Simple. | /r/MensRights | 13/04/19 10:59 AM |
| 1 | White male scientist slams sexist trolls using his work on black hole project for 'sexist vendetta' against Katie Bouman, the researcher who worked on the crucial algorithm that led to capturing the first-ever image of a black holeI edited my comment. | 0 | White male scientist slams sexist trolls using his work on black hole project for 'sexist vendetta' against Katie Bouman, the researcher who worked on the crucial algorithm that led to capturing the first-ever image of a black holeMy bad. I should have been polite but I can't imagine working hard in Ph.D (8 to 10 years) just to face bunch of trolls. It must suck for her. Lines of code doesn't mean anything at all. GUI and data transferring would use the most lines of code. Algorithms are usually less than 100 lines of codes but they are the hardest and in this case, the most important. This guys don't know anything about programming. MensRights is supposed to be MensRights not WeAreSexistTrolls. These guys are no differ… | /r/MensRights | 13/04/19 10:50 AM |

Lines of code mean nothing. Edited to make myself more polite. | /r/MensRights | 13/04/19 10:37 AM |

| -2 | White male scientist slams sexist trolls using his work on black hole project for 'sexist vendetta' against Katie Bouman, the researcher who worked on the crucial algorithm that led to capturing the first-ever image of a black holeYeah but the algorithm was made by her. Did you read the code or you just like to throw fabulous unicorns? She's her senior and soon to be a professor. Edited to make myself more polite. | /r/MensRights | 13/04/19 10:17 AM |
