Tourist comes to the Island. You don't know shit about it. They come three days out of the month and they stay in one area. First you are bragging that you are juggling with several girls, who don't seem to care they are not your official girlfriend, and who still clean your place, cook you food, suck you off and go back home afterwards. You must be new to TRP. It's a field report. It's spinning plates. It's not bragging, dipshit. Then you are rejecting the idea that they are doing it to get the…

If you think the girls you are seeing are cleaning your place or cooking for you, no strings attached, out of goodness of their heart and adoration for you, you are clearly mistaken. That was LITERALLY the entire subject of this post. You're saying I'm the one with the reading comprehension? You're just in denial thinking it isn't. And I know very well those places are not representative of Thailand at all. FFS your island is like 15km wide, how can you even say it is rural? Again, I have no ide…

I didn't say you were fucking a bargirl, but an ex bargirl. Or you must be fucking the only bar manager who is not an ex bar girl on the island. Anyway that does not change the fact that all of those girls are not just after your dick as you seem to believe naively. Again - you don't seem to have any idea of what you're talking about. When did I say "girls are after my dick"? When did I IMPLY it? GTFO. I mentioned those areas because people were asking about them. And, again, you live on Phuket …

Again, man, you're full of complete and utter bullshit. Koh Phangan is an empty, quiet island that has barely any tourists on it throughout the month whatsoever, and that's something you can't seem to comprehend. I do not hang out with any backpackers, I do not associate myself with backpackers, I am not a backpacker, I do not hang out with tourists, I don't even know what in the fuck "lonely planet" is. I am not fucking a bargirl, which you also do not seem to understand. While not all the girl…

Lol, they're not fake. And, no, you can have Shanghai. I hated everything about China. I honestly wouldn't even fly through there if I could help it.

Dude, your full of shit. Koh Phangan has ONE tourist area - a three mile stretch of beach called Haad Rin on the SouthWest of the island. For three days out of the month about 20,000 to 30,000 tourists fill up that SINGLE area from Haad Rin to about Baan Thai. Literally the rest of the month there are barely - if any - tourists on the island at all. The hotels and hostels are below 40% occupancy. All the taxis you see filled up during Full Moon are empty. All the bars, businesses, markets - empt…

You don't seem to understand - I am not interested in going to Pattaya. It does not sound like fun to me. I do not enjoy hookers, loud music, insane shows, neon lights, too much noise, an sex tourists. I avoid these areas in Bangkok, I avoid these areas in Koh Phangan. It has absolutely jack shit to do with what others do or do not think about me. I simply do not like such environments. I do not like the people, I do not like the ambiance, and I do not like partaking in any of the "fun." It is n…

I am incapable of feeling shame for something I have not indulged in. Not wanting to be associated with fat, bald, desperate tourists in a town built on degradation and prostitution is not shame. You may want to re-think your thought process because it doesn't make a lot of sense. You are the average of the five people you associate with most. I don't feel shame for rejecting anyone around me who I perceive as lower value or not worth my time. I simply feel empowered. I do not want to be associa…

China is much better in that regard. Dude... I mean, come on you have to be kidding me. Have you been to Beijing? Shanghai?...etc? Not only are the girls spoiled (because the families can only have one child) they're often over-educated and rich. They act CRAZY. I mean they are the craziest bitches I've ever had the misfortune of witnessing in my life. And the rest of China is just gross. I'm getting a lot of backlash here for not wanting to pay for sex or hang out with other people who pay for sex or be in crazy party cities. It's not about other people, it's about me and what I feel comfortable with. If I don't want to do something, I don't do it. If I want to do something, I do it. It's that simple.

On a side note, while BKK isn't as bad as Singapore, it's one of the worst places in Asia if you want a good looking educated girl that doesn't speak broken English and wasn't involved in the nightlife industry before where she likely had sex for money directly or indirectly. ... that's the exact opposite of everything I not only experienced, but hear. The girls in Bangkok are not only the most attractive, they're the most educated (many of whom went to University) and wealthier. It's the NYC of…

Man, literally every traveler that I've been meeting - a lot of great guys with high SMV themselves - are disgusted with Pattaya. If I don't like paying for sex and I'm not interested in tons of noise, and I don't like crazy shows or clubs, then why would I go? It also sounds really disease-ridden. Honestly, I HATE Vegas - I have no idea why people go there. I don't particularly like New York City, either. My chosen city in the US was Savannah, Georgia or Lafayette, Louisiana. LOL, where are you getting the information that she's considered "trash." Have you ever been to Thailand? This isn't China or Korea, dude. Give it a rest. She's a normal Thai girl who MANAGES a bar (pretty much a co-owner, actually) and has ever been a prostitute.

Exactly, if it's on my terms - like I told another commentor, in the sense of me waking up one morning and going "I want to head to X beach and drink some beers and eat some food, I'll get in touch with X girl and I'll handle the logistics of payment and travel" that's something I'm completely fine with. If X girl calls me up from the bar at 1AM asking me to hang out because she's "lonely" when really all she wants is free drinks because she's broke - that's not happening.

I'm glad somebody here is asking about the Ladyboys. Okay, so the Thai girl I'm seeing right now has several Ladyboy friends. To my knowledge, I've never met a transexual in the states - ever. But Ladyboys are EVERYWHERE here and it's so super acceptable and normal and completely just "whatever - this is my Ladyboy friend!" that it's just part of life. So, the Thai girl I'm seeing regularly now took me out with her and her Ladyboy friend and I COULD NOT keep my eyes off her. Seriously -t hat's t…

I'm not really into that stuff. I don't like paying for girls (if that's what you meant - unclear if you're talking about buying drinks or buying bar girls). I also don't like large places with a lot of noise and hustle/bustle. I'm a writer by trade - it's how I make my living - and I prefer quiet, solitude, and a simple dive-bar type of environment. Otherwise I get distracted, stop training, drink too much...etc. For those reasons, I'd rather steer clear of Pattaya. I liked Bangkok okay, but I …

Yeah, same same but different. I was wondering how the Thai dudes are with American blue eyes coming in to slay their native pussy? It's SUPER rare, which is weird because there's SO MANY good-looking Thai dudes. Seriously, the dudes here are just plain good looking, no matter how you cut it. Probably why they make such attractive Ladyboys (and why people - unknowingly - think Ladyboys are just WAY more attractive girls). I think, though, that they're also not very confident. I like girls between 25 and 30. I don't really go younger than that. I don't want to have to teach a girl how to suck me off and have good sex - she should already know these things and when I've been with girls who are younger, typically I feel like I spend more time training them than I do just having fun. I'm also not looking to have children, so "fertility remaining" doesn't mean anything to me. I typically DON'T drink alcohol out of buckets, but in most of the bars - and especially the big …

The benefit, as with ay woman, is how she FEELS in the relationship. Withholding money regularly - and declining to do every little thing she asks - gains me respect and more admiration. That's not to say I don't do plenty for her - day-trip to Koh Tao? Sure, I'll pay for the boat ticket for the two of us and handle the food/drinks because it's no skin off my back, and so on. I would recommend NOT staying on Haad Rin beach. Save money and stay off Baan Thai or Thong Sala area (peer). Then, on the night of the full moon, pre-game a bit (but don't over do it - just a shot and a couple of beers) at Nomad House hostel, then grab a taxi (100 baht, roughly $3) down to Haad Rinn about 1AM and, again, pace yourself. They have buckets of alcohol, but they give you the cheap liquor in them (even though it'll say "Absolut Vodka" they'll reach under the desk and give you shit al…

Don't mistake service-oriented with subservient - they aren't that at all. You give them an inch, they'll make you a yes man with all that service and they'll have you wrapped around their clit. Knowledge of how to be a standalone man is still incredibly relevant here.

I'd be interested to know how your experiences differ from mine and where you're living. Koh Phangan isn't a tourist hot spot. It's a tourist hot-spot for about three days out of the month and in ONE location (Haad Rin). I stay on the North of the island past Thong Sala, which is 100% different in every single way. So it's not comparable to what your view of Koh Phangan is, especially if the only time you've ever been here is for Full Moon or Half Moon and the only place you spent time in is Haa…

First of all, women rarely - if ever - know what they want. Secondly, all women on a biological level want to respect a man who is above them, and hold him in higher esteem and respect than they hold themselves. That's all women. It doesn't matter what women SAY, it matters what they RESPOND to over and over again. Not only that, all women are narcissistic. So, yes, AWALT. The culture is different - yes - the women are not, nor are their motivations for doing things.

I just don't want to feel dirty and gross by simple association. I walked through some areas in Bangkok where every other person was a fat, bald, old guy with a stained wife-beater walking hand in hand with a tiny little Thai girl, I just felt disgusting being in the area - as if everyone there (the vendors, the girls, other passer-bys) assumed I was of the same ilk. I have found that the process IS much easier - it's not questioned. There is less after-thought regarding it on behalf of the girl. It's like a quick test, you don't yield or you correct, and it's done. It's like swerving on a motorcycle to avoid a pothole. That process is a CONSTANT correctional course with Western woman. It's like driving a car that has terrible alignment - you're always steering it - with great force and effort - to go in a straight line.

It sounds like a lot of the people commenting here on the beauty of the women in Southeast Asia have not been here - it is highly diverse with mixes of Cambodian, Burmese, Indian, Vietnamese, and so on, creating gorgeous women that are quite literally everywhere. Traveling throughout Southeast Asia it's not just all about the local women either. I have never, in my entire life, seen so much pure aesthetic beauty everywhere I look than in Southeast Asia so far - ESPECIALLY Koh Phangan - where Sca…

First I find them dead ugly. But that may be only my opinion... Typical: http://i.ytimg.com/vi/92-wHyWyMrg/mqdefault.jpg Not going to argue with you. I'd say 85% of the local Thai girls I see here (the island) don't interest me. But, there are some drop-dead GORGEOUS girls here (weirdly enough Thai guys are super good looking, just classically masculine looking - weird how that works out). Me - personally - I don't get with bar girls or go-go girls or freelancers or any such thing. And there really aren't any on Koh Phangan anyway. Oh yeah, the infidelity is crazy. The really bad like... party places that are filled with that fat, wife-beater wearing old white guy stereotype are certain spots in Bangkok, the ENTIRETY of Pattaya (which I will not even entertain passing through from the stories I've heard) and Phuket, to a lesser extent of both. We were together for four months - not very long, I know - and it was right after my previous girlfriend, who I was going to meet back up with in Thailand, died while she was in Nairobi (different story). In any case, I was definitely vulnerable due to that sudden death, but still not out of my mind - I had my wits about me. Here's the thing with that girl. I MENTIONED an open relationship with her, and that it's typically what I seek, when we were a month in. Boy, did she take that and run with…

Same thing here, man. I'm in Thailand right now. Girlfriend who said she "loves me" drove me to the airport, cried as she left me. I get to Thailand, about two weeks of "I miss you" and sexy snapchats and then BAM "I don't think this is going to work out." My reply? "K" I get clarification a few days later. I can honestly say that I've never looked back at a deeply emotional relationship I've had with a woman with any kind of appreciation. It's happened three times and they ended up being the most tumultuous, nerve-racking, unsure, and time-wasting moments of my life (time spent being emotional instead of a productive human male). And yet the relationships I've had - either monogamous or not - where no such deep emotional state was experienced by me (which can sometimes be one-sided as women will o…

She never will be - ever. Your male friends will be that for you, the woman in your life never will. If you are weak with a woman in that way, she will continually lose respect for you on a biological level. Not understanding this is going to cause you huge problems, but I don't blame you - again - it is the bitterest pill to swallow. Refer to my other post in this thread for the full version, but to quote Florence Nightingale again: Women crave for being loved, not for loving. They scream out a…

You're going to fail, then. Women do not provide sympathy, they will lose respect for you, and this is "the most bitter pill to swallow." If you don't understand this, you are doomed to a lifetime of unfulfillment because no woman will ever be the crutch you want her to be. No woman will ever give you the love your mother gave you. No woman will ever love you the way you love a woman.

Look, even with paid maternity leave - an ideal that I do not in any way agree with because it is not up to other people to cover for your decisions (no man has that capability) - that doesn't change the fact that if you and the man are working - even part time - your kids will be raised by strangers in school and day care systems. You will not be able to be there for them to the capacity that you should. If that sounds fine to you - great - raise yet another generation of parentless children. I…

This is just not true. scientists in these fields can't even agree on exactly how people acted thousands of years ago, let alone precisely why they acted this way LET ALONE that people act the same way now. That's completely incorrect. Culture has been setup for over 10,000 years and we've had writing for about 5,000 years. The brain, during this time, has hardly changed (actually hasn't changed much even over the last 200,000 years). I find it odd that you would tell me that we don't know much …

Men leave, and who's gonna take care of you and your kids then? Especially when he doesn't have to give you any money because that would be divorce rape, right? Most divorces are initiated by women (the overwhelming amount, in fact). All US courts are stacked against men and, even if marriage was not part of it, he will still be legally obligated to pay child support in a lot of cases. So.. pretty much all courts and all society is set up to favor you, as a woman, in the case of divorce. If anyt…

then why does behavior vary so significantly from culture to culture? It's nature AND nurture, not just nature alone. This is what separates us from other species of mammals. Not really. Culture and society most definitely plays a role in human behavior in the sense of morality and judgement. Yes, but that does not necessarily mean these women are acting according to a biological imperative. Everyone acts on biological imperative all the time - always. You are a product of your programming - everyone is. The fact is, America is a hard place for a woman to have both a career and a family. This isn't about America - it's hard to have both a career and a family regardless of where you live, which is why women tend to JUST have a family while a man has a career and provides for his wife …

Women do want to do all those things. It's just that they don't have to marry to do any of those things anymore. This is because their cultural, legal, social and employment status is completely on par with that of men. I'm not sure I understand what you're saying in the least. Women want commitment from a male, but they don't want that male to marry them? Women's status as women has been a disadvantage in the not so distant past when most were expected to marry so as to have a man to take care of and support them. That's not the case anymore at all, not by a longshot. The oil tycoon can give me nothing I can't give myself, That's just not true. For the same reason less than 50% of female Harvard graduates are still employed 30 years later versus over 90% of males, most women (MOST women ) seek out men with whom they can have children, and because of that most women either choose to stop working or choose flexible jobs. The definition of hypergamy is marrying (or seeking out a mate) who is of a superior cast or class from yourself. A woman is a woman no matter what, even the most average woman will have more sexual options than a rich man. Therefore saying I would consider a more attractive woman over my current girlfriend should she display both the physical beauty and emotional stability I seek out, it wouldn't matter if that woman was broke and living with her father or if she was a heiress. Women and men are different in their biological imperative. For a man, physical attractiveness entails better offspring and we are built to be visually stimulated. Women are far less reliant on physical attributes - they seek out social status, money, and strength. Two different biological imperatives, but it's not like they aren't complimentary - a man seeking the most beautiful women must work harder to be in the top 20% of men (this means not only being as physically attractive and strong as …

I can count the number of women on one hand that have stirred something deeper, that have piqued my interests, and whom I found myself thinking about often and missing when they weren't around on a deeper level that wasn't just about sex. With my current girlfr…

Just seems like she's trying to say that she can be dominant whenever she wants, she just doesn't like being in that role and dislikes the backlash she receives when this is brought to light.

Well she is talking about her personal preferences.

Fantastic reply from one of the women on the board, though. I'm the same way. In my mind, the problem is not gender roles, or sexual preferences, but the forcing of a hierarchy of roles and preferences. If people are happy in old gender roles, and they're consciously aware of the past, and don't force that onto others as the "right choice," then to each their own. It's my major beef with feminism. I'm extremely well read, raised by a feminist mother, and have done "more than think about my choic…

Well this is like... the 30s to 50s I'm pretty sure for that time he was pretty progressive. I mean he DID make an arrangement with his wife to allow him to fuck another woman so she could have his babies and then fucked another woman to have more babies, stayed married to her, she dies and he marries the other woman. I mean... that's definitely not normal for that time period.

How do you quantify that in terms of relative and often abstract disciplines such as writing, painting, music, acting, and other artistic endeavors of which plenty of women have had immense strong and lasting social value? What of women's uncanny ability to organize social groups to aid in communal issues and efforts? What of women's bravery and loyalty to men throughout some of the world's greatest wars - organizing food, nursing, medical care, and so on in droves, saving countless lives, boost…

Part of being a leader and part of being a man is recognizing value in others even outside of whatever social utility they've been assigned to in your mind or by the culture that surrounds them. If you're so undiscerning that you can't pick out the difference between the value some women present over others, in terms of personality, loyalty, social grace, and equal input into the lives of men (either romantic or platonic) and your simple blanket observation is that all of them - every single one…

This happens to me a lot. Everytime there are women directly in front of me I feel as I have to go to extra stupid lengths to NOT seem like I'm taking a picture. It's like if you're in an environment and a kid comes up to you and waves at you or something, you feel like you're supposed to ignore it because being friendly might make you look like a creepy pedophile. I notice the phone thing the most at the gym. I keep my lifting routine on my phone, so every so often I'm checking my next lift set…

This article was posted somewhere in the comments as well, which I thought was super interesting. Basically a woman who talks about the "male run media business" and "boys club" that is the modern film industry decides to create Utopian female-only production company with top talent, only for it to tear itself to shreds from the inside out much in the exact way you would imagine. AT least as a kudos to her (the author) she admits that she should probably NEVER hire women again (literally says, i…

Everyone is vulnerable from time to time and it's absolutely impossible not to show that in a long-term relationship as well as incredibly damaging. People who say that they are not vulnerable or are able to never demonstrate vulnerability are not only lying, they are arrogant rather than truly confident in themselves and who they are. Statements like these are made from people desperately attempting to mask their insecurities out of fear rather than owning them.

That's an interesting way to look at it. Being confident in your vulnerabilities / weak areas?

That's generally the way I think about - this is how I'm feeling, this is what I'm going through, it's MINE to go through not YOURS, but this is the reason behind my recent actions. I'm going to deal with it my way, and I just wanted you to know.

I thought it was just me that observed that (or that it was just my particular experience)! Literally every single one of the super hot women in high school aren't anywhere near that now while girls I never even cared about are smoking hot.

So glad I'm not a yoot anymore. I'm a 28M - it wasn't until around 23 to 24 that things got SO MUCH better and easier. Not like I didn't get laid in high school and also in my late teens and early 20s, but I started really getting comfortable with myself recently and the whole act of going out, getting a girl, and having weird, kinky, awesome sex is no longer a rarity or a mystery. Girls are more willing, you feel more comfortable in your own skin...etc. I feel like I even look better now than I…

I work a location independent job as well (I'm a freelance online marketing consultant and marketer myself). I'm heading back to Thailand next month. I get the same shit - people want to know what I do. They find out I'm a high school dropout with no college education and think I must have hacked the Internet, when in reality I spent seven years figuring it all out on my own. My advice male or female - just don't talk about it. Those who know, are already doing what you do. The rest can find out…
