I'm a good looking white guy and I don't get a ton of responses. I'm only 5 foot 8 so maybe that's an issue but I think it's pretty average. I get tons of messages from black and arabic women though.

The same thing happened after the Boston bombings. One of the perpetrators was a pretty boy and girls everywhere couldn't believe he would do such a thing. It's like if you're an attractive male you can get away with anything.

Insecurity in men isn't just a turn off to women. I think they're actually disgusted by it. You see it time and again in askwomen. If a guy shows insecurity they don't try to empathise with him, they just get angry and dismissive.

Feel good stuff gets upvoted to the top. I kind of think the whole upvote/downvote system discourages people from being honest on reddit.

Why does the US have such a hard-on for it though? America has a for-profit healthcare system. So people with problems end up getting talked into paying for lots of pointless shit because it makes someone else money. That's why Americans take way more prescription drugs and have way more therapy sessions than we do. Here in the UK we have the opposite problem; the government doesn't want to pay if they can avoid it, so it's hard to get treatment when you really need it.

The CEO of my company is one of those quietly confident types. He's too old for me to say whether he's a natural alpha or not. He might have learned it with experience. He is tall and reasonably good looking, for a guy in his 50s anyway. You should see the way women light up and act giddy when he comes into the office. His status is practically intoxicating for them.

If you hold the door for a hot young woman who doesn't show any gratitude does it annoy you more than if she was some grouchy old man? That would mean either you were white knighting and expecting something from her in return. Or you resent her for being spoiled.

I don't know if that's true. A few weeks ago a random girl in a pub sat down and started hitting on me while I was alone at a table. My girlfriend was at the bar getting the drinks in and was quite annoyed when she returned to find me talking to another girl she didn't know. Just 2 days later my GF tells me about some random guy who was hitting on her on the bus, and how persistent he was. Now I figure that she was doing it as a kind of "revenge" for me being hit on earlier. It's like she wanted…

She's 26 and probably a smart girl. I imagine finding a partner for her is trivial. She might have a different opinion in 5-10 years.

I'm happy with the way things are right now and I like having her in my life.

Maybe I'm fucked up, but if my girl left me it would almost be a positive. I enjoy the early stages of a relationship more than the long term thing and I would see it as an opportunity to find someone better.

In my opinion the profile itself shouldn't be very long. Less is more. If you're a good looking guy, a few short paragraphs that make you seem fun and exciting are all you want. Women will fill in the blanks with their imagination and their fantasy will probably be better than reality. The more you write, the greater chance of turning her off. I only filled in the "what I'm really good at" and "the most private thing I'm willing to admit" sections because they were the most interesting. The "6 t…

I agree with what you've said, plus most of the bartenders I know have really good social skills because they practice them constantly as part of their job. They learn to make conversation and joke with complete strangers.

The average is probably skewed by those 600lb shut-ins that can't fit through their front doors any more.

Yeah I had a similar experience. I remember one of my first times going to a nightclub around 16 years old with a fake id. I saw one of the hottest girls from my class sitting on the lap of a guy who must have been around 30. It's a bit creepy looking back at it but even at 15 this girl could have passed for 19/20.

That's why you see guys become super protective and jealous when they know their girlfriend is really hot. I've never had a LTR with a girl like that but I imagine it must be pretty stressful.

Nope but I had the reverse once. A girl was actually hotter in real life than on her profile. I did see my sister's dating profile by accident and noticed she was using a picture that was at least 4 years old where she obviously looked younger and thinner.

The causes of the decline of the British empire are well known and fat chicks aren't that high on the list. Although you could argue that anti-imperialism is a blue pill ideology. A red piller might just say "to the victor go the spoils".

Ha. I'm British myself and it's true. I went to Norway a few months ago and it's completely different over there. Fatty foods and alcohol are taxed like crazy in Norway so there's hardly any fatties.

I like how all the women raging about it seem to be hot rich white girls. They're basically proving his point for him.

I can clearly remember girls getting preferential treatment over the boys in my early school days. Like when we had to get changed for PE (gym class for you americans) we didn't have lockerrooms so the girls would change in the classroom while the boys had to go out into the corridor to change. The reasoning being that girls modesty needed to be protected, but boys could get changed in public and it didn't matter. The teachers (naturally all female) always seemed to be much quicker to shout at t…

I'm not sure I buy that it has to do with women wanting to be subservient like that. http://www.livescience.com/7689-women-religious-men.html Women are more religious than men in general. They're also more likely to believe in other crazy shit like horoscopes and ghosts. Personally I think it's down to women caring about more about feelings while men care more about facts. I also believe this could be why women are underrepresented in math and science fields.

I use it but I don't put any effort in. I just put up a profile with my best photos, answered some of the questions and filled in about half of the essay questions. I don't even bother logging in or messaging women but I still get 1 message every 2 weeks or so from someone. They're usually pretty decent looking too. The less attractive women just seem to rate me 5 stars, I guess they're not confident enough to send a message out.

I occasionally see some girls I would like to date in the "who's new" list, but they always seem to delete their accounts pretty fast. I'm assuming they either get locked down by someone or get creeped out by all the 60 year old sex offenders looking for some hot young girl.

Well they get constant encouragement for it with all the likes and "you're beautiful" comments. No white knights would ever tell a hot girl she's a vain attention seeker in case it hurts their 0.001% chance of getting laid.

Is this why the women I know are always asking me what I'm doing to advance my career? My bros don't seem to give a shit how much money I make, but even my non-romantic female friends give me advice they think will help me make more money.

Being confronted by a virgin after fucking a string of one night stands probably made her feel like a slut. So she attempted to recover some of her dignity by appointing herself the moral arbiter of the situation. She rationalized it as doing him a favour, but obviously the guy was DTF so all she really did was blue balled him. Either that or she thought she wouldn't get any pleasure from it and wasn't willing to do the guy a favour since there was nothing in it for her. If she was a decent pers…

I'm a northerner. I envy how hot the women are in London but I imagine they must be super-entitled. I went shopping in Oxford street recently and the shop assistants there all look like models. They can't be making huge money but they all had expensive as fuck clothes and jewellery, I bet they must have rich boyfriends or sugar daddies.

Their indifference towards male suffering is truly amazing, i personally believe it to be biological. Males are just disposable in general. Since one guy is enough to impregnate many women, that means only alphas have value to society.

I have a few of these women on my facebook. All of their photos are horses. They're actually kind of disturbing.

He mentions the proliferation of porn as well which has an effect outside of colleges. For a lot of guys being able to whack it to 10/10 porn stars that perform unspeakable acts is both easier and more enjoyable than awkwardly trying to woo a 5/10 who starfishes with you once a week.

I remember seeing a woman's dating site profile in my city, where she wrote at length about her amazing career and her business that she owned and how much money she made. She was very clear about only being interested in guys who she considered her equal - successful, ambitious, attractive men. She was 31, had below average looks and was only willing to date guys up to 39. I think her profile is still there 2 years on.

Telling someone they're gross like that is like treating them like a slug that landed on your leg. Yeah reactions like that in my younger days led to me believing that all women hated sex and only did it to please their boyfriends.

How do you mean? Like, telling her something intimate about yourself but not seeking her validation or reassurance? That seems like a tricky thing to pull off.

What happens to saleswomen once they are too old to rely on cuteness to sell shit? Do they just stop making money?
