I'm so sorry to hear that. That definitely makes things ten times more difficult when you have a mom like that and body dysmorphia. I went to therapy too, and partly because of my insecurity issues. I always got frustrated when the therapist kept telling me the whole 'acknowledge it, identify assumptions, identify reality' schtick, but after 6 months or so of doing it...it just randomly started working. It just clicked for some reason. I can't explain why. Hang in there. The fact that you are re…

I'm going to turn your logic around on you. "Simple girl just make sure he spends a ton of money on you as soon as possible- the first date. This confirms mutual attraction and never have a lot of sex with him going forward - that way you know he’s there for you." I'm guessing this may sound unfair to you?

Insecurity leads to distance, which leads to a weaker connection, which leads to 'proof' you weren't enough. This sort of thinking is going to fulfil the prophecy. I know you said telling you not to be insecure doesn't help, but this really is the crux of the issue. Trying to find some sort of other explanation for this may not help since insecurity is the reason you feel this way. And I am definitely not just saying 'stop being insecure' because that is not helpful at all. Moving towards a secu…

The whole point of redpill is to create power dynamics. It's meant to lower your self esteem if you are a woman and meant to elevate it if you are a man.

I'm sorry you are in that situation. It's no understatement to say how people treat you in the past molds who you are. I don't want to give unsolicited advice because I don't fully understand your situation, but there is this YouTuber called healthy gamer, or Dr. K. I've been following him recently because I have a son I am worried about. He is genuinely a man that seems to care about men's mental health and his content has been so informative. It might be worth watching a 20 minute video of his…

I see. I'm sorry you're in that situation. Just curious because I am new to this sub - do you have any genuine friends? I don't mean that in a rude way I promise. I am just curious. You mention wanting a girlfriend for status to impress men. Do you view men as threats or do you have a friend or two you genuinely connect with?

Better to be single than get with someone under false pretenses. It's not fair to your partner. If you are unable to find anyone attractive that meets your exact standards, stay single. This goes for men and women alike.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
