Yes, but she’s still allowed to feel used just as a man is allowed to feel used for his money even if he paid for everything, because the expectation of dating is usually the whole package and I don’t think it’s evil to expect that and feel let down

This is a skill issue solved by not engaging in covert contracts Exactly

That’s stupid. That’s like saying a man can’t be ”used for money” if he willingly paid every date. That’s not how people use the word ”used” in this situation, they mean they expected the other person to want more (emotional intimacy, romance, sex, feelings, commitment) and the other person clearly went in to the arrangement with the goal of getting just one thing, while dangling the promise of more in front of them. Both people in this situation are stupid, and being ”used” in this way for mone…

I often approach, like 90% of the time, not cold but like a luke warm approach lol and it works well. I have however been met with the dudes who say yes even though they’re very obviously not into me just for a chance at sex and oh my god is it a horrible feeling. I can imagine that is a worry for a lot of women, seeing as a lot of us grew up on the ”men will sleep with anyone” stereotype, and are worried that his interest is not genuine but out of desperation.

Same, but for me it isn’t really solitude either. I have plenty of close friends and social interactions throughout my days during work, with colleagues I really like, friends who live 20 minutes away who I meet for coworking, morning walks, yoga, gym. I have hobbies that I love, I’m very close with my mom and sister, and I have activities planned with these people at least once a week. I just feel very happy and lucky. I’ve been in relationships but they didn’t make my life better, even though …

Nah it's just multiple things often, or a combination of behaviours, traits, looks, and it's hard to analyze logically and put a finger on since attraction comes down to how a person makes you feel. All people I've dated have looked and been fundamentally different, but were equally attractive to me. How am I supposed to know what exactly is good advice for what some one guy can or should change when I don't know him as a person?

God no. What's the point of dating such an attractive person who am I crazy turned on by, but whom from the start I could not have sex with? If it happens in a long term relationship due to an accident later in life sure, but sex early on is too important to me to build that relationship, and even if it happened later on it'd be a huge tragedy. What is the point of this question? ETA: being single is not a burden to me, maybe that's why this trade would be absolutely terrible.

Yeah of course, I don't think a relationship adds a lot more to an already happy life myself so I completely understand why facing a lot of rejection etc. is not worth it. But I'm not on reddit complaining about how men are not worth it. I know there are great men, and me being single isn't because "men aren't worth it", I just am happy being single and think a relationship and dating is a lot of effort for something that is largely determined by luck and that would only marginally improve my li…

I mean if men are unhappy being single what can they do to get women to want to date them? Become more attractive, physically, socially etc. If I as a woman want more people to date me I'm not gonna complain about how men should change, at least not before trying to be more attractive and improving myself.

All guys around me are normal and have girlfriends and the toxic ones don't. If toxic guys have an edge it can be because they're exciting, fun, unpredictable or whatever

I mean if someone, man or woman, is in a relationship with someone who is kind, caring, responsible etc. and then that person turns around and yells at their partner and hits them, and the victim dumps them - surely it’s not the one who left who ”made a poor choice”, but the abusive partner who failed? And in dating, you usually stop seeing the person who treats you poorly, but you can’t really know if they will until you date them and find out. So. Staying with a person who shows clear red flag…

Sure, and I feel bad for them but what can I do? My friends don't call random guys creeps in front of me so I have no one to "call out on their behaviour". I only date men I want to date, my friends do the same, I personally don't feel like society tells me women bring inherent worth and men don't etc. I think the dynamic exists just like in a lot of the animal kingdom - some men and some women don't get to reproduce and don't get picked, and because women can get pregnant and actually keep the …

Yep, people without empathy suck. I also have empathy for men's issues though, and am not a hypocrite, so

I mean... personally I do approach the men I'm attracted to, but it's rarely off the streets and would be classified more as a "warm approach"? I can't really do more to force other women to initiate other than tell them "I always approach and it's like 95% effective, you should try it!" which I already do. The women who want a man who approaches first will not take my advice, and as I personally am not into men who approach women in public I will not be dating them lol

Because women like different things? I don't care about men watching normal porn unless they're addicts or watch something extremely violent. I also don't care about public approaches, and if other women like them that is not a problem to me. What am I supposed to do, condemn women for liking different things than I do? No.

Real weird question OP. Surely there are a select few men who invite women for drinks with the purpose of getting them drunk for a chance to hookup easily, but most have to be those who prefer something to calm their nerves in a casual setting while getting to know a new person

Because the consistency is so thick it feels like you're jerking it in slowmo?

No? I've given suggestions a million times over personally: go to the gym, use skincare to not age prematurely, take care of yourself, have good emotional intimacy with friends to not be so desperate for a girlfriend and time and time again I've been told "nah that's too much effort. If chad doesn't have to do all that to get pussy I'm not gonna do it either". Okay, don't get pussy then. As an average-looking woman, I am well aware of the privelegies that very attractive women have, and I would …

Absolutely, most men are boring for dating. Most women are also boring but I don't date women so they don't actually need to be that enticing. On the other hand most relationships don't seem to form from some insane spark that was like a passionate fire. Out of all my friends who are in relationships the majority started out just being in the same context (school, work) and slowly getting to know eachother and then dating. These are normal, boring people who just happen to like each other for wh…

Everyone likes the gaze of their preferred gender when it's convenient, otherwise ugly women around the world would not have stories of them hitting on dudes who laugh at them in response or talk shit about them after - and they do
