That’s okay, people mature at different rates. You were most likely not super mature for multiple reasons, and super strict parents didn’t help. What I always find funny about super strict parents is they people did all the stuff they tell you not to do when they were younger. It’s just upsetting when parents don’t allow their own children to grow.

You can make dinner at your parents place. Y’all never did stuff like this when you were younger?!?! My wife and I would do this all the time. We started dating when we were 17, we’re 40 now. This isn’t a tough thing to grasp. Just make a little food, sit at the table, and talk.

Cooking dinner is not an adult thing. Cooking dinner is a person thing. Your 17 not 7.

Make her dinner. Super simple but a great option if you are good at having a conversation.

It depends really. You have to sort of be able to adjust on the fly. Not everyone can and for some couples not takes a couple tries. If you are clicking with someone, just keep at it. An open dialogue is always best. Been with my wife for 22 years and we still talk about thing and try new things. It was keeps things going on the relationship.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
