Bro this is some mundane shit. It was good of you to let her know about the bear, but to not only expect a more lengthy reply, but also complain about it here as though its a true societal issue faced by men is quite the stretch. Legitimately asking: what kind of response were you expecting/hoping for?

Your opinion on what the law currently is is irrelevant. You can argue what the law should be all you want, and id likely agree with you, but when talking about what it currently is you were not correct.

See i don’t actually give a shit what you think. You’re either a half-literate troglodyte who has to resort to name calling when told they’re wrong, or just a poor troll attempt Either way, i don’t really care, your opinion is literally worthless to me. In future, address the actual arguments in front of you or you’re just admitting you can’t handle being incorrect - a mark of true intellectualism

Absolutely poetic, my avatar is Crow, a character from Destiny… good job once again showing us how much knowledge or research you require before deciding to spout off bullshit you know nothing about. Also, sick ad hominem attack, really reflects on the depth and nuance of your argument.

You idiot, he’s not arguing what the law should be hes telling you what the law is. He is 1000% correct that that is how the legal system works. Calling him a bootlicker for that is honestly pathetic. Sorry to hear about your reading comprehension skills

Let’s not forget Vasquez from Aliens. “Vasquez, you ever been mistaken for a man?” “No, have you?”

I respectfully disagree. I personally do not downvote a comment or post unless i think it was made in bad faith, or is otherwise obnoxious or unnecessary. If i disagree with an argument presented, but it is presented respectfully and in good faith, then i simply do not vote and just reply.

Pretty hard to have a vocal opinion on something when I’ve been told my entire life that my opinion is literally worthless because i lack a uterus. Fair enough, you guys win, I’ll happily sit down and shut up.

You’re not making anyone’s argument more succinct by having a sook about this. If anything, wouldn’t we be the ones making the argument stronger by pointing out a poorly used analogy? What a weird hill to die on.
/r/MensRights29/04/22 02:12 AM

Cope mate, you don’t need to get this wound up about it, all i did was agree the analogy was bad.

I love that this 100% correct and accurate comment got downvoted because it showed the analogy was bad.

So you agree you’re not standing up for equality then? You’re standing up for revenge for how the world was before we were all born?

This. Its not men vs women, it never should be. It is reasonable people who are sick of sexism vs the sexists of both sexes

Im not disagreeing with you man, as evidenced by my difficulty in coming up with examples (beyond physical strength/height). My only point is that its just as naive to say men have absolutely zero privilege as it is to say they are the only group to have privilege.
/r/MensRights05/04/22 01:49 AM

Almost every single person in the developed world is privileged in a way that another person is or is not. White privilege exists (in a much much lesser capacity than we are always told it does), but so does black privilege, male privilege, female privilage, straight, LGBTQ, whatever other groups. Unless you’re an extreme case and have had the most unimaginably horrible life (no one in the developed world fits that bill to me), the you have some kind of privilege. Everyone does.

Naw look at that, jumping straight to trying to insult me, I’m SHOCKED. It must be exhausting to be that smarmy, smug, and condescending to people you’ve literally know nothing about. You’re quite clearly filled to the brim with contempt already, so im not going to bother with your cute little personal attacks. Im just going to disassociate from you and let you go back to your bubble of bitterness and loneliness. Toodles! ETA: above commenter added the three final paragraphs after this comment t…

Lmao, which is it? Is it ‘feminism is about equality for both sexes’ as i am told constantly (despite it being demonstrably false), or is it ‘fix your own problems, we want to focus on womens issues’ (just curious, what sub do you think you’re in?)

If you’re reading a shitty sexist article about how to do it, chances are its not unintentional. Absolute fluorescent lightbulbs writing articles over at ‘bolde.com’

Yes, but it used to be “men suck because of these actual real problems caused by men”. Now its “men suck because i want to be a victim/martyr too!”

No of course its not, but it can be indecent assault. In almost all cases it isn’t, its just being touchy/creepy, but as men who cant retaliate, it can be extremely violating. I’ve been indecently assualted by a woman in a club before who was literally trying to force my hands down her pants and remove my pants on the dance floor, despite me physically stopping her multiple times. She would keep going saying “if you don’t want it then say no”, over the top of me, while i was yelling no. Security…

I completely agree with all of this, except the last line. Im a bigger guy and i sometimes get women doing that same shit grabbing my arms or chest. Every single time I’ve had a rather large recoil and taken their hands off me. Its not that I’m scared or whatever, it’s that i have a nervous reaction whenever people touch me who aren’t family. Doesn’t make me ‘not a real man’

How the hell does that argument fly? Its basic contract law; i cant sign a lease and then say “it was duress as i was afraid you wouldn’t house me if i didn’t sign”. Like thats what contract is. Crazy stuff man.

God, the post history is insane. I counted about 6 posts harping the same “1/3 men would rape a woman if they could get away with it” stat, only to find that stat was from a fucking COSMO article, with a sample size of 73 from ONE UNI CAMPUS. Real grade-A statistical analysis there guys. Unreal.

I remember reading something the other day with some dolts arguing that paying for sex workers is not inherently consent, including paying for OF, and if you just pay and dont get active consent to use the materials, that’s rape. Id imagine this girl would be of a similar mind.

r/FemaleDatingStrategy bans people who have never even visited their sub, i wouldn’t exactly give a fuck if they have a problem with being banned.

Honestly, its not my job to educate you. But since your little ‘man’ brain cant handle it, ill help out just this once. Christianity is only misogynistic if its men (ew), women cant be bigoted because they’ve been oppressed before. I mean, not me personally, but I’m sure i have a grandmother or something that was. So it all just comes down to this: man = literal embodiment of all evil and darkness in the world. (This was over the top /s)

No, no, don’t start bringing in your ‘statistical facts’ into my good Christian man-hating echo chamber. It’s ok, “we don’t need research for this one”.

Note how none have given any sort of counter-argument. Because there is none. All you need to do is scroll through the front page to see it. This is just the natural life cycle of a sub: eventually the good ones become too popular and inundated with posts that are not the purpose of the sub. Like literally read the sub description, PPD is specifically and only when a woman is trying to get special treatment for her gender, and is shut down for it. This post, with its limited context, is just str…

Yeahhh been in this sub for about 2 years and seen it slowly but surely go from genuine PPD with someone actually trying to get something because they dont have a Y chromosome, to just people being unnecessary aggressive and downright mean to women and being blindly supported for it. Ive seen videos of straight up assault, battery or harassment of women with ZERO EVIDENCE of entitlement or them trying to get a free pass, and the post gets hundreds of upvotes with anyone speaking reason downvoted…

On what grounds would the court not allow the video to be used as evidence? You can’t just decide that half the evidence doesn’t count because you believe someone is guilty. Not unless the evidence was illegally obtained etc

If you can spread your legs 180 degrees you belong in a circus, that ain’t right. The former kind is what almost all manspreading is. It’s a bullshit petty term used to shame men for the most tiny non issues. If your biggest problem in life is men on the bus having to spread their legs to accomodate their most sensitive body part, then you are wildy wildly beyond privileged
/r/PussyPassDenied16/05/21 02:24 AM

Either you don’t have a penis or have a tiny one, most men feel extreme discomfort sitting with their legs pressed together for obvious reasons

Idgaf if you find it annoying I have to keep my legs 3-5cm wider apart to accommodate not crushing my external anatomy. Grow some empathy or grow some resilience; just lose the victim mentality

By pill do you mean BC or MAP? Because if she says she will take birth control tomorrow and you agree then you’re putting yourself in that situation, BC needs to be taken like clockwork every day to be an effective contraceptive. Morning after pill makes a lot more sense in this context, and does leave you liable to her lying about taking it the next day.
