I warned that women should stay away from Men who think they are ugly but want to date them anyway. That’s not your situation. Your situation is that there is a woman or women who you think is attractive and other people don’t find her attractive. That’s a totally normal circumstance.

OPs original question was would you rather have the same amount of attention Women get or average men. I pointed out that what OP meant was HOT women, not all women. And yes, I would much rather be treated how hot women are treated, not how average/ unattractive women are treated, but such is life and all that!

Zero. I have been hit on zero. :) Well, I remember one guy, who I had never spoken to, said “I would never go out with you”. So, I think that makes it -1 for times I have been hit on. I was rejected by a total stranger! Lol. Again, it’s all fine, life turned out fine for me, but this idea that ALL women have been inundated with men hitting on them is false. True for hot women, but not true for all women. Anyway, I hope you have a great day!

I also think women know when they are considered ugly by men. As in, you said, you were competing for the ugly girls, but you thought they were ugly! I’m sure they picked up on that and reacted accordingly. As an unattractive woman it’s important to stay away from dudes who think you’re ugly but want to date you anyway, those are often the ones who think you’re fuck-able because they think you’ll let them get away with abusive behavior. I wonder when you say you were interested in ugly women, di…

This is false. I’m older now, but as an unattractive woman I can promise you the attention is non-existent or negative. It is what it is.

I’d rather get the attention hot women get, yes, absolutely. Average woman? No.

One’s political views are just the answer to the question “What is my responsibility in my community and what is my community’s responsibility to me?” Politics is a shorthand way of describing one’s relationship with their community. So, I don’t think it’s an either / or. One’s politics is often a manifestation of their values.

My friend and I were sending pics back and forth of Robert Redford today, and other older actors. They were famous before our time so I got curious to see…were they actually hot? And my friend and I agreed, these men were so damn hot.

For marriage, hugely important. Let’s say my husband chooses to cheat. Scenario 1: he’s out of town on work and sleeps with someone. Scenario 2: he pulls $10k out of my retirement accounts and spends it on something he wanted for himself that I didn’t want him to buy. I absolutely would try to work it out in scenario 1, and I absolutely would divorce him immediately in scenario 2. Financial infidelity is unforgivable in my eye. I spend less than him, earn more than him. The earning differential …

I don’t know any women in their 40s who ARENT empowered and opinionated. I don’t know any men in their 40s who aren’t empowered or opinionated either. We’re all adults with jobs and responsibilities, and families / people / pets to care for. I guess, I don’t understand what a 40-something would be like if they weren’t opinionated or empowered.

What is the name of this clinic? If it’s near me, I will happily tell my friends about it! They would love to know of something cheaper / minimally invasive!

Don’t stop at the state level! I think it should go even smaller, not states deciding, but townships and cities. No, even smaller, I think it should be left up to individuals to decide on the rightness or wrongness of abortion.

We’ve been married 16 years! And, though there are days / moments he really ticks me off, the majority of the time, I am really, really happy to see him!

Probably pretty awesome if she’s a good baker. My recollection of the cake I made…I remember the cake more at this point than I remember the guy if I’m being honest…but it was a LAYER CAKE even, what on earth was I thinking, and the top layer just kind of…slid off…and I tried to make black frosting which is, for the record, IMPOSSIBLE, like you have to legit BUY it that way so anyway it was more of a lavender. My point is: it’s not that great…unless she can actually bake!

I “just so happened” to be out on a bike ride (lie, this was carefully planned) and I “just so happened” to forget my water bottle (lie, I had left it in the bushes nearby) and so I needed to stop at a friends house for a drink of water in the hopes the guy I liked would be hanging out there. He wasn’t. But my friend said “oh he asked for your number he’ll probably call you tonight “ and so suddenly I had to get home immediately. I was like 22 when this all happened too. We dated, married, blah …

I baked a whole cake for a guy I had a crush on! He ended up with my best friend! Lol (it’s okay, really, life turned out great for all of us!)

I learned to drive on a stick and that’s all I drove for years. You’ll get it fast, really. It’s not hard. Practice in a parking lot first, don’t panic if you stall out. It’s a normal thing when learning. When you press in the clutch, make sure you press it all the way to the floor. And I always kind of Slammed the stick into gear because my first car it was slippery. Being stopped midway up a hill with a light at the top as a new driver is the worst - manuals roll backwards of course, so you ha…

But I’m agreeing with OP! If he wants to be in a relationship which requires documentation of one’s partner’s honesty and fidelity I absolutely, 100%, think that’s a fine idea!

He had a very long and strict set of criteria for any “test” he would submit to. I find it wildly convenient that no test exists which would satisfy his exacting criteria. “I need you to prove your honesty to me, but no such test currently exists for me! Sorry babe!” How wonderfully convenient for him!

You received the assurance you needed to build a family and you would deny the mother of your child an equivalent assurance? I would expect, as a man who understands the importance of documentation that you would see the value in her also having documentation. How interesting! Best wishes to you! I’m off to enjoy the sunshine!

And I said a lie detector is a poor substitute for a tracker app as it does not provide the same level of accuracy or information. An app installed on your phone is quick, simple, free!, non invasive (you already have many apps on your phone and those don’t bother you) and accurately lets the mother of your child know your whereabouts. If a woman is, for example, at home caring for your child, which you know without a shadow of a doubt is your child because of your dna test, surely you can see w…

Lie detector tests are notoriously inaccurate and costly. A tracker on your phone is a much better way for her to go to get the same level of assurance that you received. Surely you would want her to be as confident in you as you are in her? Pregnancy and birth are both, I assure you, FAR more invasive than a little app! Surely if you want a woman to undergo that level of invasiveness, you would be okay with a little app

Just as it’s important for you to trust that this baby is yours, it would be equally important for her to trust that you are not building another family behind her back, robbing her child and yours of a fully involved father. If you choose to be in a relationship which requires certificates, tests, etc, then I would expect you would have a partner who requires similar certificates, tests. You could build another family at any time. The paternity of a child can be proven quickly, the fidelity of …

Wait, you believe this story to be true? You actually believe that happened and wasn’t just made up for clicks? Come on now. You genuinely think hordes of men wanted to genuinely date that photoshopped woman? Come on now.

Then what are the average guys complaining about? I know life as an unattractive woman and, it’s fine. Some people are hot - their lives will be easier because of that. Who cares?

My husband? Shocked. Utterly shocked. I’m sure there are times he holds his tongue, so it’s not like I have unfettered access to his brain but I am confident that I could predict how he’d act in almost all situations. He’s good people. Close friends and family? I am also confident I could predict their actions, and they are also good people. Everyone else? The world is a funny place. I have no idea how they’d act so I don’t think I’d be shocked at anything. But, I also think most men are actuall…

I would put your average man and average woman on more equal footing…that seems to sort of flip flop, sometimes average men come out ahead, sometimes average women, but having lived life as an unattractive woman, this absolutely tracks.

This “attention from men” might be something attractive women contend with. I’m a below average looking woman in her 40s. I promise you, promise you, I have never gotten attention or compliments or kindnesses from men who weren’t already my friends. Thats not a reality of my life, it isn’t now and wasn’t when I was younger either. Men forget that unattractive women exist, I don’t have any opinions on that, it’s just an objective fact. Having male attention, in general….I honestly have only seen …

One of my best friends LIVED this philosophy. He was (still is!) smoking hot. It’s wild how women react to him, but anyway. In our circle of friends THREE guys had oops babies, life turned out great for them in the end, but it definitely changed the trajectory of their lives. As a result, my friend was very clear with the women he dated- “I wont have sex with you unless I am certain that if you say “I’m pregnant”, I’ll be fine with that. “ He ended up having PIV sex with three women in his life …
