1	[deleted by user] I would say as a general rule of thumb it’s not a good idea. That said, over the course of 10 years daily going to the gym I’ve gotten 4 numbers out of 4 approaches. The key is to understand body language, timing, etc I haven’t tried for a number at the gym in probably 4 years, so it’s rare that I give it go.
