does this headline sound a little echo chamber-y to anyone else? would you expect any fewer than 90% of people from #fathersforjustice to be against making false statements about abuse to get a child's custody? what new information does this give anyone?

do video games 'cause' misogyny? no. are poorly written female characters common in video games? yeah. one dimensional characters who are only good for romantic interest or saving from kidnapping are about as alienating to women as he-man type angry beefcake types are alienating to men. sexism isn't a zero sum game, you don't have to treat men better by treating women worse or vice versa.

i guess i don't see this is too big of a deal. stupid people are stupid, and will be outraged over stupid things and say stupid things.

what does this have to do with mens rights? this seems more like it's about the rights of the public vs the publishing rights of journalists and the press.

why would you expect a subreddit that is defined by its name to be completely contrary to another subreddit to be particularly fair or evenhanded?
