Country approved pussy passIdk I find the analogy with Marijuana pretty spot on. I was leaning on the basic human right of having a political vote. But if we want to lean on the right to liberty. It's like saying: "Forcing people to go to prison is going against human rights. It should be there on decision if they go since it will only be effecting their liberty." If you argue that the people profit of a safer environment with them locked up, you could also say that people profit of Switzerland having a mandatory army. … | /r/PussyPass | 02/03/21 05:29 PM

Country approved pussy passThis is a interesting discussion. Disqualifying people to vote goes against the basic human rights. While they might not be effected by the vote, it is still a vote where as a nation you have to decide. You can't just ban people, if they have a outside perspective on the theme. It would be like saying: On the voting "if marihuana should be legal", only people that already smoke it should be allowed to vote. Besides the point... In 2015 about 47.8% of all votes where from women. So from the vote … | /r/PussyPass | 01/03/21 12:29 PM
Country approved pussy passWhile I have to agree that it might not be equal. As with everything there are reasons for and against equality when it comes to mandatory service. In the Federal Constitution it is said that while it may be considered as something against gender equality, it also states that: On average, women are considered less suitable for military service due to physiological and biological differences. I did some digging for the vote this year if women should have a mandatory service the most common named … | /r/PussyPass | 01/03/21 08:39 AM
Country approved pussy passYeah they can say I don’t want to do military service. You can then do „Zivildienst“ which is a wide variety of jobs that also help the society. Like working in a hospital for a year, helping out in a school. Even if you aren’t selected for one of those you can still do „Zivilschutz“ before you have to pay taxes. What I find more critical is that some people push them selves so hard in the military that they get injured. | /r/PussyPass | 01/03/21 06:41 AM
Country approved pussy passCurrently serving in the Swiss Army. A lot of foreigners have the feeling that the Swiss army is useless. However from my perspective I can’t agree. While some Swiss people do also find the military to be useless you have to look at the facts: Switzerland has a military to help the normal emergency services. While other countries may have up to 550 police officers per 100k inhabitants, we have about 220. If a natural disaster happens we have the military to clean up & help the people get back in… | /r/PussyPass | 28/02/21 08:15 PM
