9	DAE find the domestic violence PSA on The Walking Dead annoyingly unnecessary? They didn't just write that in. It was in the comic, right down to the shot of Rick throwing him out of a window. It's more about Rick not being satisfied by his perception that justice isn't being done and taking it on himself to deal what he considers to be justice. This causes major problems in the town. She views him in a certain way (a useful resource, and not a potential mate,) and acts in such a way to keep him that way because the status quo is useful. But I don't think it's deliberate.
