Yeah, the plan was to at least go on a couple of dates and kiss her before the trip. The friend of mine also suggested to go on a 2-2 trip, me paired with her and he paired with his current crush.

You are welcome. I'm not gonna lie, it's gonna be hard. And no, if you don't like it you'll never get used to it. The "just keep doing it, it'll become part of your life and it'll stop being heavy to do" it's pure bullshit. Lose weight NOW. It'll get much harder the more you wait. I was fat too (22yr M), I used to hate my body. Then I worked hard and I got fit, it's way better trust me. And it's simple at this age, you just need to eat less/healtier and do jogging/generic cardio. Simple as that. Watch out for loose skin. Good luck.
