That would have been more wasted time and energy. It is a lot easier to remove someone who is subdued or stunned than someone fully aware. He still didn't get her off of the bus after that massive hit; trying to remove her from the get go definitely wouldn't have happened. This helps a lot with the situation because it showed that she was a problem not only as soon as she entered the vehicle, but while the bus was in motion. She was a blatant hazard to herself and those around her because all it would have taken was a flick to the head at the wrong time, and we don't know how this story might have ended up.

The both behaved deplorably. In another situation, this may be true. Well you, and a lot of people like you, have a very firm understanding of themselves. But, some people do not. I think that's the whole purpose for someone stating what they identify themselves as: because rather than it being set in stone, it was ambiguous or they had to really research it. In some ways, it can be kinda silly or sad, but in other ways it can be the result of a large philosophical and interpersonal voyage.

I don't understand laws very well. From what I interpreted from that quote, blackmailing will have legal repercussions of a fine or imprisonment. It may not be a federal offense, but it does seem like a legal one at the least. Is that what I should change?

I feel that the both of you a right in very similar ways, and that the opinion on this issue is very relative to the person that you ask. But I think everyone has one understanding about it: Enough people have a problem with it that it's probably in everybody's best interest to avoid it.
