Yeah spot on. A lot of guys pay not because they're "being a gentleman", they pay because they're afraid of what the woman may think of them if they don't. Let that BS go, nothing kills you're attractiveness quicker than fear. For example there was this girl I briefly dated, and on the first date we split the bill. This was a very pretty girl that knew it (she was quite egotistical for a girl that I later learned was in reality insecure) so I knew me not paying for her on the first date would be…

Honestly I wouldn't know how to title it without the context of the conversation. It's already on the front page twice now anyway, I'm no fan of clutter. Thank you for the heads up.

Good list! Actually this compliments my post above nicely, this being the 'how' and mine being the 'why'.

No, "nice" boys approach it wrong because they compete, because they are desperate to "win". They want, some need, this validation because they live in fear and insecurity. "What if another hot girl never talks to me again, what if this is my only shot at not being alone?!?!?" They aren't actually nice, they're manipulative and needy. When they're rejected, they spiral into self-pity and blame the "jerks" and the woman who like them. The most attractive men don't compete at all. They be themselv…

What kind of species loosely values qualities like arrogance and flamboyancy as attractive, and qualities such as compassion and attentiveness as unattractive? No that's B.S. There's a reason we've (humans) evolved to find certain traits attractive and others repulsive, there's logic to it but it must be seen from the correct point of view. Compassion and attentiveness are not unattractive, neediness and manipulation are. And that's exactly what "nice guys" are doing when they think they are bei…

Stab in the dark, but I bet the "looked upon as a whore" thing is probably more feared from other women and/or authority figures than it is bitter guys. A woman wouldn't (at least I hope) want to bother with, or even be attracted to, a bitter guy like that since he's obviously at the very least sexually insecure. Of course I'm speaking from the point of view of one of the freer societies. Some nations are completely repressed by bitter guys like that.

Thanks, I wasn't sure how that would come across so I'm quite pleased it resonated. The whole thing was admittedly a bit of self reflection as well.

“I’m so glad I got to come home with you, I was starting to wonder what your house looked like.” "Well here it is" smile and guide her on a lighthearted tour of your place. Have fun with it. At the end ask "Well what do you think?" Continue that conversation or switch topics while leading to the next activity/spot. You know, normal fun inviting interactions. If you think you're in her head and know what she wants, fine go ahead and believe that but stop trying get her to validate it for you. Tha…

Your post reminded me of this: Some of you eat lunch at certain place everyday and you're not talking to people, start breaking that social circle. Some of you like to go to happy hour; get to meet everybody. Once you meet everybody you create the party. If you create the party women are going to come running all the time. But you have to learn how to create that party and the only way to create that party is to become the confident guy and the only way to become the confident guy is to start ta…

Huh, I've always naturally done 2, and have been trying to change it more towards 1 since that is what I see advised most in seddit. Didn't realize 2 was already good, though thinking about it now not knowing was kind of dumb of me, 2 always did work out fine for me.

Right. Look at this way: Him: waves her to come over Her: looks confused Him: without hesitation, walks over "I saw you looking at me" Her: "You were looking at me" Him: "You're cute. Let's dance" Dance, spin, make-out

I'm not saying never chat, I just want to provide my perspective that if you play it right, you never need to chat. Love it, and agreed. Would upvote that sentence twice if I could!
