You don't have to be racist to recognize someone's race. But to say they fit the stereotype is racist as hell. It still devalues the person to nothing more than a caricature of shitty qualities you think apply to a huge group of people you've never met. That's what a stereotype is. Except there is no "lack of a better word". There are a thousand, unique, clever, specific ways to insult someone. At least. Using a word that is meant to insult an entire race means you are insulting the entire race. You don't get to redefine the term so it instead insults a different group. No fuck you. You know what it means, you know who it insults. Don't use a racist term and say you're using it for non-racist reasons.

Yeah, you can't use the the term that demeans all black people selectively to demean only the ones you don't like, and then say it's not about race. If it wasn't 100% racially motivated you would use a term that had no racial connotations. You, for instance, are a tool. See? No mention of race. Just you being a tool.
