Most succulents prefer a moderate to high amount of light. If you have lower light levels, Haworthia species do well. Nothing that was too successful, I bet I could do a better job at it now. I guess, keep drainage in mind. It doesn't have great windows, but I use some grow lights. I do grow several herbs, but just outside in the summer, storing some for winter.
