Once at a Chinese restaurant, this guy stormed in and went off on the desk guy that his food was bad somehow. Straight up vein in neck yelling in one of those moody tranquil type restaurants. After 5 minutes I walked up to him, put my hand on his shoulder and told him I knew he was upset, and that he may or not be justified but I did not care because the restaurant had a right to enjoy their food independent of his problem. He relaxed and apologized. All this time I thought I had the correct app…

The whole thing didn't make sense to me. The protest was trying to prove something no one denied. Women are valuable in the workplace. Of course they are. But because they are workers, not specifically women. Who cares what your gender is if you get your stuff done. Why do you want a medal for being a woman? If by God's grace you managed to hurt some businesses by being absent, it would most likely be due to a shortage of workers, not a shortage of pussy.
