Equal opportunity means that female candidates who are appropriately qualified are considered on the same level field regardless of their 'category'. Equality of outcome would be that regardless of the talent of candidates, an equal number of people in each 'category' end of getting the job. A category being defined as follows: Any non-pertinent attribute or property which defines a partition amongst some pool of candidates. To expand on what you said - though 'm sure you know this already, but throwing it out there for other people: Not all external weights are equal, for instance, free-weights/body weight movements will recruit additional muscle groups/stabilizers that cable/machine do not recruit due to the mechanical properties aiding in the movement. Additionally, not all movements are equivalent, compound movements are more effective at overall muscle growth, especially for beginners.

Interesting comment and I agree with portions of it, though what is your basis for the following statement: feminism is in many ways a sexual strategy for women I've never considered this position. Is there a good place to learn more about that perspective?
