| 2 | Counseling ?Same here. I still had hope when we decided to start counseling. I thought our first session was great, I said some stuff, she did. We both left with some things to work on, I was so happy we finally were going to fix our marriage. A couple days later she said it was a waste of time and she wants to separate. Looking back, she either wanted to check that box or thought the therapist would just side with her and make it easier for her to call it quits | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/08/26 05:22 PM |
| 3 | At what point do you just give up?Totally agree, don't give up on your kids, even if you feel they don't want you around! I'm also separated and a specific podcast helped me a bit. It's the divorced dadvocate, episode 257. It's about staying strong, even when it feels hard. Talks specifically about when feeling your kids don't want you. Really recommend this specific episode.
