I don’t think you’ve been dating the right women if this is how you feel. I’ll throw the disclaimer out that I’m not a regular visitor to this sub and I came across this post on /r/all. I’ve never been in a relationship where I’m expected to “do everything.” Not since literal high school, anyway. When I was in college/early 20s, I would pay for drinks, meals, but I was never forced or felt pressured to do so. In fact, a lot of the girls I went on dates with insisted on getting the next round if …

People still get it done ostensibly because it’s more hygienic, but it’s still very much an unnecessary procedure.

Both “people” text the same way and it literally checks all the boxes of ppd bingo. You’ll probably see it on /r/thathappened later because that’s where it belongs

I have both, thanks. You need a psych eval and a basic cognitive test

Have you been lost in your actual echo chamber for so long that you forgot what the definition of narrative was? “ThEy CaN’t GiVe ThE vAcCiNe AwAy!” As a comment. On a thread about two people that wanted it so badly they dressed up like old ladies and lied about their age to get it and skip the line. That is a narrative. And it’s a false one. If you need anything else spelled out for you so you don’t have to overwork the last two brain cells you have left, let me know, you dumb fuck

I didn’t infer that at all. I inferred you didn’t understand how it works, which you clearly don’t

I really don’t see what that has to do with the data you were presented. Most states still have restrictions, and those vary depending on what state you’re in. Over 16.5% of the US is over the age of 65, so just in that category alone you have more people than vaccines distributed. If we add healthcare workers and other eligible people in, why would those numbers be unreasonable? I’m sorry you can’t get the shot yet, but your anecdotal story does nothing to cast doubt on the data

Feel free to show up with any sources of your own or even bother to check the other source in my comment that isn’t NPR, but I imagine you’ll have a hard time finding one that fits your narrative. Sorry that NPR, despite being left leaning, bothers to report actual data, since things like facts and evidence are antithetical to baseless claims about not being able to give away a vaccine that people stand in line for hours to get

Were you dropped on the head as a child or something? How did you infer that from my comment?

There’s an abundance of studies on healthy eating and the effects of greasy food, red meat, and obesity. Restaurants across the world have adapted to provide healthier options to cater toward a more health conscious world. Every doctor you visit will lecture you on eating healthier if you exhibit any signs of bad health that can be linked to your diet. People don’t talk about it every day because 1) it’s common knowledge that has been around for a long time, 2) dietary health is not transmissibl…

Your comment is the actual bullshit https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2021/01/28/960901166/how-is-the-covid-19-vaccination-campaign-going-in-your-state That’s a lot of people in just a short amount of time that it’s been available. And recently an article came out saying the US is administering more shots per day than Canada has done all together. http://globalnews.ca/news/7596337/canada-us-coronavirus-vaccinations/ 1 million people a day are getting this shot, and most states still have…

That’s a fun way to say “I have no idea what herd immunity is” https://www.houstonmethodist.org/blog/articles/2020/dec/herd-immunity-how-many-people-need-to-get-the-covid-19-vaccine/

The most recent studies have shown that there can be a significant delay in between the first and second doses and it can still have the same efficacy. Also even just having the first dose by itself gives a significant boost in immunity, although 2 is obviously better. So not wasted

I just haven’t experienced it personally aside from a couple of times, and through all of my friends and their respective dating careers as well, I can only think of a half dozen examples of it, and in my mind a couple were actually justified (like the example above.) I know my experience=\= universal experience, but this is a topic where your personal experience is pretty much all you have to go on, and I’ve had a lot of experience over my 20 years of dating. I’m not going to get into an /r/iha…

Sounds like you might be the one with limited experience if you think this is something a lot of girls do. Maybe you have a type and not a big sample size, so it’s hard to make an accurate assessment

The meme is made in a vacuum, though. Sure, there’s probably been a girl or two that immediately jumped to an ultimatum, and that’s nuts to do. But in most relationships, this would be far from the first conversation had about the behavior. I had a college friend who dated a guy for a couple years, then he got really into wow (this was just before tbc). He left the house maybe twice a week to get food. Stopped doing anything with her whatsoever and didn’t really acknowledge her anymore. She trie…

It’s dumb too. There are plenty of big companies run by women. Fidelity Investments has trillions in assets and it’s run by Abby Johnson. So his reply is not only unfunny and crass, it’s just plain wrong as well. Edit: downvote all you want you idiots, I’ve seen what you upvote

Also someone in their 70s could easily refer to when they were 15 as when they were a little girl. This whole thread made me sad

Man, hearing the phrase “I can’t breathe” must just suck for a cop. On the one hand 99.99999% of shitty people are going to use it as a tactic when they actually can breathe, so it’s hard to take seriously, especially with that concept of “you’re literally talking to say I can’t breathe.” On the other hand, my druggy friend used to say nonsensical shit all the time while he was tripping, so everyone ignored him when he said “watch out for that space alligator,” and I’ll be damned if there wasn’t…
