So does that mean I should get condoms? I definitely do want to escalate with this girl, I'm attracted to her. Never worn a condom before, do I need to go out and try a bunch on?

Got it. You said I might escalate further. How far would that be? Do I need to be ready for sex?

Are you saying that you'd think it's better if I went alone with just her? The only reason I wouldn't do that is because I don't have her contact info, and would prefer not to go and find her on social media.

Oh wow, that makes a lot of sense. That helps. Still not sure if we can go out Friday but I talked with my bro about a back up plan and he suggested we go to the beach and bring some beers with both girls. Will keep you updated.

Ok, I will go for that. It sucks because it seems everyone my age isn't the type to schedule things in advance and that they do things in the spur of the moment, so I'd probably have to tell them that late Thursday or Friday. And since they don't plan things I doubt there would be any other suggestions. That second idea of doing a double date is perfect. I have just gotten to know these guys recently, we used to be friends going way back to middle school and elementary school. And one of the guy…

That goes against my gut instincts but I'm going to take your advice here. I talked to my friends yesterday and they said we're probably going out Friday, and so then I texted my friends sister and asked if Laura was coming along. She said "Yee I think so" and I said "Ok awesome". Did that with the intention that it would get back to Laura and that she knows there is interest on my side, and I'd say that's a positive response from the sister. I'd imagine they were definitely talking about me or …

That's definitely true about college game from everything I've read here, really gonna focus on that when I get there. So apparently Laura had a boyfriend but she broke up with him because he cheated on her. Don't know if it was before or after we hooked up, but she's single now and she's going out with us again on Friday. That was my first time doing any sortve thing like that. I didn't talk to her at all the morning after and I don't have any contact info. So I'm just going to wait until I see…

Update: I texted her on Thursday night asking her how her cousin was. No response and I'm just going to move on. And last night made that a lot easier, let me tell you about that. I've been hanging out with a group of friends I hadn't seen for a while and everybody wanted to go out to a club. It ended up being me and my 3 guy friends, one of whose sister brought another friend, and then another couple joined us. So we park downtown, meet-up and do some drinking before we go into the club. Oh, an…

Yeah, I thought it would be better to give a fast response. So after she said "Hey sorry my cousin is in the hospital, I should've told you sooner but I'm with them rn. Sorry it's been really hectic here :/ I said "I'm so sorry, what happened? She said "He was a t his first day of the fire academy and I guess the training is meant to break you. But he ended up in the hospital his body just gave up on him, all his levels are high but they don't know the cause." Now "levels are high" sounds like B…

Ok bad news. I texted her "lets meet at the food court entrance" And she said "Hey sorry my cousin is in the hospital, I should've told you sooner but I'm with them right now. Sorry it's been really hectic here :/" How do I respond to that? Do I try to suggest another day now?

Alright, thanks for all the advice so far! Definitely going to try being in the moment and relaxed during the date, I just like to plan things out in detail before hand, and I think I can turn on the charm and be spontaneous during the date. I will let you know how it goes.

Thanks, I will feel all those things out. I am definitely not going for the kiss on the first date unless I read that she's really into me. My friends were telling me a guy went on a date with her twin sister and when he tried to kiss her she freaked out. I'll go for it on the second date for sure though. And I know this girl is a really nervous type so I wanted to do something that would get her more comfortable around me before doing an activity that would require me to pick her up, but I plan…

So I have a few questions about what my gameplan should be for the date. What order do you suggest we do the following things: a) get food b) get ice cream c) walk around the mall/look at stores Do I let her order her food first? And do I pay for her? A small detail on the ice cream, is there a difference between getting a cup and cone in terms of a sexual vibe? Because when I get ice cream in a cone I really go to town on it and I feel like that could be a good or bad thing. In my original post…

So I have finally been able to schedule something for 5:30 on Tuesday, but this has been the most aggravating text dialogue I've ever had.

Every text I send takes her hours to respond so I might as well keep you updated in real time lol. So I offered up the ice cream idea and she said that she doesn't get off work until 11 tomorrow. She asked if they are still open then and I said no, not tomorrow and "damn why do you get off so late. She replied "we're doing inventory so I guess we go way past store hours to do it." Now I was about to text her "are you free tonight", but is it worth pursuing any sort of super late night thing on S…

Thank you for all of your advice. I understand it's totally not the end of the world. I was bummed out about it this afternoon when I didn't hear back. But I went and lifted weights with a few of my bros and chilled back at their place and had a good time. I also got ice cream with 4 girls that I'm friendly with last night after I thought to myself that it might not work out with this girl and that I don't want to be putting everything into her. So I can and have been doing other stuff but I do …

/u/kfudgingdodd Need help ASAP She texted me at 9 "sorry i ended up being really busy today but what are you up to this weekend?" I said "No worries I'm not up to much how about you" She responded "I have work on Sunday but I'm allowed to wear whatever I want lol which is weird but I think I'm just doing behind the scenes stuff that day" "And I think tomorrow we might have family coming over but idk when..." How THE FUCK am I supposed to respond to that?
/r/seduction08/07/17 04:18 AM

Yes, I'm going to move on. If you want to know the specifics, I went into detail in this post.

I did do that. This is a girl I knew from many years back and I ran into her on Sunday, texted briefly with her, then asked if she wanted to grab lunch and hang out at the mall on Monday because she works there. She said she was busy then but we could hang out on Thursday. Then what I described in the rest of my post happened.
/r/seduction07/07/17 06:34 PM
1

Yeah, hopefully. And if that happens how should I respond? This is pretty humiliating for me because I told a bunch of people I had a date for tonight. I have soccer practice tonight and told my coach and teammates I had a date and couldn't come, so if I go I'll have to explain that it didn't work out or I'll have to just lie next time I see them. Pretty depressed right now honestly and don't want to spend the night home with my parents when I told them I was going out.

Fuck. This was going to be my first date ever so I'm stressing the fuck out a lot and overthinking it. And after all these things I've read about beeing needy and showing neediness, sending another message definitely plays into it, but I was really excited about it and want to know what's happening. I guess sending a 3rd text does look bad but I really wanted this to work out.

So I texted her yesterday at 4 and haven't heard back from her. Don't know what to do. I was thinking about sending a text at about 3 saying "I'm making other plans if I don't hear back in a couple hours". /u/kfudgingdodd too

Will do that. As of right now the last communication we had was on Monday where she texted "Hey, I actually forgot that I have plans already on Thursday so it's probably going to have to be Friday, but I'll see if maybe I can do something on Wednesday instead". I responsed "Alright cool let me know" I haven't heard back since. Clearly Wednesday is now out of the picture but she never texted me saying anything about it. Thursday is out as I had mentioned, which leaves Friday. My last text was say…

I was already planning on doing 2/3 of those, might tease her a bit depending on the situation but I usually can't pull that off that well with the way I say things. I'm not sure if it's really a date. When do I ask if she's seeing anybody?
/r/seduction04/07/17 02:37 PM

Definitely. What do I say to her as we go off our own ways at the end?

Since I posted I got her number and texted her. She responded, "I actually forgot that I have plans already on Thursday so it's probably going to have to be Friday, but I'll see if maybe I can do something on Wednesday instead." I just replied, "alright cool let me know". So now I'm waiting to hear back from her, but it's definitely not Thursday. What I was saying was that I planned to just hang around the mall where she worked for a bit, eat and walk around, and then ask her if she wanted to do…

You're right, I should have asked for her number. Sometimes I take the advice in this sub too strictly and don't leave room to improvise. People here say things like don't ask for a girls number while they are working, even though this was a different situation since I knew her already. Do you mean ask her out on a second date at the end of the first date? Or through text another time? And I'm totally on that kino. I've been waiting for a chance to finally put all I've learned into practice, but…

That video that was posted today about not following girls on their social media coincidentally talked about the exact thoughts I was having last night. I have problems with falling for girls so easily and imagining us together. It took me 3 hours to fall asleep last night thinking about it. But this morning I have been feeling a lot cooler about it and that she's just another girl. I just have to keep that frame when I go into it.

Is there a difference between using an opener first vs. introducing yourself first? And is it realistic to ask for a number after having a 30-second conversation?

I didn't make this clear but part of what I meant to say was just body language in general. Specific examples of how to tell when somebody is lying to you, uncomfortable around you, wants to leave, and the inverse. Not just limited to girls. I've read all about body language signals but I'd like to see videos showcasing the entire movements and more subtle gestures.

Yes. Cashiers, waitresses and any store worker is best because they have to be nice to you. OP /u/Procastinator9000 ask "how is your day going". There was just a thread posted about this too the other day. I used to be like you OP but I've gotten much better at it and the only thing I struggle with is doing it with girls. You also need to specify what types of situations you are uncomfortable with because they might actually be bad ideas. Like just don't go do it walking up to people on the stre…

This is fucking great. I am saying that people who have always known you one way will not be comfortable with the changes they see in you, even if they are perfectly healthy, positive changes that improve your life. This is so true. I'm going off to school in august and pretty much getting a fresh start and I'm gonna be who I wanna fucking be. Arnold Schwarzenegger gave a commencement speech at USC a few years back and said: Many young people are getting so much advice from their parents and fro…

What is the best distance to make eye contact at? I noticed if I started looking from farther away and we made eye contact then I probably wouldn't get another look. Another related question. Let's say you're in a club or really anywhere that you and a girl are not within talking distance. Do you still smile in that situation, or just make eye contact? Because today I found it much easier to smile as I was saying hi.

So I went out today to the mall and worked on this. I was able to do this 8 times, and only three of those were attractive girls. I was nervous. I may be overthinking this but I have questions. Lots of times I was prepared to give the smile and say hello, but I didn't get any eye contact so I didn't go forward with it. Do you say hello before any eye contact is made?

I was replying to another commenter that when I get that negative voice in my head I end up forcing the smile out and then it looks something like this: https://youtu.be/1ANUP5-aW4E?t=33 I just have to practice smiling while being relaxed and happy.

I smile MUCH more natural when I am laughing. When I was suffering from depression some time ago my friends liked to point out how great of a smile I had and that it could light up a room because I rarely smiled. Don't know if that's just because they were encouraging me to smile more and be happier, but I definitely have a natural smile when I laugh. Going back to my 1st reply to you about the situations. When guys talk about the 3 second rule, does that mean they have made eye contact, smiled …

Thanks! And on a funny note this is how I look when I try it but can't so I have to force it: https://youtu.be/1ANUP5-aW4E?t=33 So by practicing, I have to work on that too, and hopefully doing it enough will get my confidence up so that it's a normal smile.

Alright, I'm going to go out and do that tomorrow. What I even tried today was like pre-smiling, pretty much preparing the smiling motion before I did it, just thinking about being relaxed and happy, and it actually worked for most people. But it actually had the opposite effect when I looked at hot girls because my lips turned from a slight smile to straight. Do you have any suggestions on techniques or mental cues?
/r/seduction16/06/17 02:22 AM

Let me ask a basic question. By smiling at a girl, is the community talking about a situation where you are walking in a mall or something and make eye contact for 2-3 seconds before you walk by? Because that feels like way too short of a time for me to work up the smile. I can smile somewhat in a situation where numerous people are in the same location but not moving around. As in I'll make eye contact, they make eye contact back, and then we do it several times where I can eventually work up a…
