Yes they can. You can't change a person, they can only change themselves. We women always work on ourselves to level up and become better, guys can do the same.

My Husband sat me down one night early in our relationship and said "I want you to know what I have" and showed me all his bank statements, his 401k, his paycheck stubs, student loans, ect. It was never hidden from me, not even from the beginning. A HVM will not be upset if you ask about his Financials and will outright be open and honestly to you. His phone will also be an open book along with his mail. Don't be scared to snoop.

The night before my wedding, I was freaking out. Half of my husband's family bailed on the wedding (death of his cousin), and they were supposed to be helping with the set up and bringing things for us. I was laying in bed just bawling on his chest when he asked me to move for a second. He walked over to the dresser and brought back a box and set it on my chest. Him: I was going to save this for tomorrow for just before you left to get dresses, but you need it now. Inside that box was a pearl ne…

So then, isn't that what dating is in general? Looking for that 1%? Just because one is on OLD doesn't mean they aren't outside and living their best life. I don't NEED a man in my life, never have and never will need one, however I'm also not passing up a true partner in life who is a HVM. I also was keeping an eye out for a HVM while living my life. I just don't see a difference between meeting a guy at college or a bar or out hiking and OLD. They all contain large amounts of LVM/NVM and you a…

Because even the men you meet in person are overwhelmingly LV/NV. With OLD, I am able to see behind the BS. I'm able to look them up on line, see the ones who are lying, who are married, who are just shitty humans even before meeting in person. Just because you meet a guy in person doesn't mean they are HVM. That is what dating is, weeding out LVM for HVM.

Yeah because working full time, volunteering part time, and going to school part time means I have nothing better to do. Life isn't black and white. While I'll agree meeting a guy organically is better, my LVM ex was met while volunteering and was apart of my volunteer group. My ex Fiancé was met at school. Abusive LVM. I'm just pointing out that OLD isn't evil unless you allow it to be. In fact I found it easier to weed men out not worth my time. But so be it. You are allowed to have your opini…

Going on dates and using OLD, as long as you are doing it for fun and not as something obsessive or making it take over your life is fine. You learn a lot about yourself by dating and what you actually want in a guy. OLD shouldn't be something you only do, it should only be something you do for fun, laughing at LVM and their antics because simply put, this isn't the 1980s where going to the bar is where you'll meet the love of your life. I'm too busy to be out and about looking for someone. OLD …

Personally, I have to thank OLD for me meeting my HVM Fiancé. We are both busy AF and while our hobbies overlapped, we were in completely different groups. Our paths would have never crossed without OLD. We both were on OLD just for fun, not expecting anything from it, we just clicked and it worked out. I think OLD has its place, but it requires a lot of work and vetting. I met a lot of LVMs but to say no HVMs do OLD isn't right. You have to just be smart about it.

What a piece of trash. My Fiancé makes half that and has hired someone to come in and do the deep cleaning because we both hate cleaning and we both live busy lives. We then take the remaining chores and split them. Sometimes he does mine for me and some time I'll do his for him. He also works 60 hrs a week to my 40 hrs. Do not get how hard this is for men to accept.

When I'm getting my teeth cleaned, my dental hygienist is baffled at how high my pain tolerance is. So when I finally say "ouch" or "ok, that is uncomfortable" she jumps in with numbing meds because if I say something hurts, she knows I'm not lying. She has never seen someone who can take as much as I do when dealing with my teeth. So when I go to my doctor and say "the pain I'm in makes me highly uncomfortable to the point I can't live my life" my doctor says "It's supposed to hurt and be uncom…

I don't want an Alpha anything. I want a guy who takes care of me and his kids, cooks, cleans, pulls his own weight around the house, actually a parent to his kids, treats me like a Queen, shows me he loves me every day, supports me and my dreams, pushes me to do better, holds me and helps to make things right, is my actual equal and doesn't see himself as above me, ect. Oh wait, I found him and my life has never been better.

What he did, grab a different pair of shorts and left the room. He just was looking for a certain pair and for some unknown reason he couldn't see them as he grabbed a different pair. It was just one of those moments where you can't see what's in front of your eyes. I get them a lot and he always hands me the object and gives me a kiss.

Lol sometimes, but mostly my phone which has a habit of ending up in the weirdest places. I'm kinda scattered brained, and I'll sit things down and totally forget where I put it. He always helps me find it while I continue to do whatever else needs to get done.

Yeah, I take on the laundry and he cooks and does dishes. It works out great. I beleive it was a true brain fart since we were in a rush to get to the boat. If it happens more then once then I'll play dumb, but I'm really not concerned over once where he even called himself an idiot over.

Yesterday we had the first "Hun! Have you seen my shorts?" Conversation of our relationship. Me: Did you look in the Shorts drawer? Him: Yeah, didn't see it. Me: All the laundry should be done and put away. Check again. Him: Yeah not there. I walk over and open the shorts drawer Me: You mean these? Him: Oh damnit! I'm so sorry. I really did look there twice. Thank you so much and I will do better in the future. He just works 12 hr shifts, 5 days a week so I give him some slack. But he apologized…

Oh come on! My Fiancé and I talked about rent before I moved in. I told him I couldn't pay a lot and was kinda concerned over not having my own money just in case something happened. He also makes 4x what I make. Our agreement? I pay nothing except to help cover my cost of food. That was what HE wanted. I plan on giving him $400 a month to help cover food and some of the bills. Because I feel that's what it costs for me living with him. I fully expect to get half of that back as a "wtf? That's t…

I tried to get a hysterectomy a few times and was refused because I didn't have kids and was "young and would change my mind". I mean I only bleed until I'm anemic, have cramps so bad I get sick, and can go through an ultra tampon in 3 hrs with huge blood clots, but my future husband may want kids! I'm 35, marrying a man who had a vasectomy 10 years ago. Guess who never changed her mind?

I don't agree with this. My man can keep going sometimes and other times is just to sensitive to keep going, but will finish me off even if he has finished. That's the key. Sex shouldn't stop because he is done. Hell, grab my toy and help finish me off. It's not that difficult.

I know this is a joke, but damn that would drive me crazy. I dont need someone to do everything for me, but if you are near the fridge and I mentioned something about being thirsty a little bit ago, bring me a glass of water without me asking! Or if I'm working on a project, feel free to bring me a drink and something to snack on. Just take that extra step like I do. Am I on the couch and it's chilly? Put the blanket over me. I do the same for him. Small things that show you are thinking of me a…

I'm still struggling to figure out what is wrong with me, and remind myself daily that it's not in my head, no matter what the doctors tell me. Blood work comes back with in "normal ranges" but certain tests are always on the high or low side of "normal" which makes me wonder while it's normal for most people, maybe it's not normal for me and my body since every body is different. Maybe having low and high of normal counts is actually the same as having out of "normal" for me. But I can't get a …

I made it a rule that after my ex-fiance, if sex sucked, I was not staying in the relationship. With my ex and now my Fiancé, sex was/is great and both made sure to get me off before they would. For the biggest surprise, my Fiancé will even go down on me after he cums. I never thought I'd find a guy that would be willing to do that and never even be asked to do so. So, yeah. Sex is a deal breaker in a relationship for me and if the sex sucks, either he doesn't put in the effort to allow me to en…

A few times we've gone to a new restaurant, my Fiancé makes me pick the 2 plates I am interested in, buys both plates plus something he likes, then we share all 3 plates. Its amazing because I can try a bunch of new things yet I'm not pressured into liking everything either.

I met my Fiancé on Facebook Dating of all places. Met some really cool guys off of it and dated a few long term. It was kinda cool that FB dating also links to their Instagram if they had one and I found that looking at a guy's Instagram tells you more about them then the dating websites did. Ultimately, my Fiancé had no Instagram or Snap or anything like that which proved to be an awesome thing OKCupid all I met were LVM who tried to hide things from me that a Google search revealed. I felt lik…

He was on a trip 10 hours away, left early to drive to my house when I told him I failed a test that I had been working hard for months training to pass it. He also sent flowers the next day to encourage me not to give up. There was also the time I started having really bad cramps while I was at his place. He left the bed and came back with water, pain pills, and a heating pad.

I was on POF and Facebook Dating. Both for fun, not looking for anything really. I just thought I'd get a few laughs. POF was horrible. Just so many disgusting men on it. It was great for laughs. On Facebook Dating though, I don't know if it was because it was easier to vet men or what (since it was hooked up to their Facebook and Instagrams), but I had so fewer poorer interactions on it. Lots of good conversations, only a couple of idiots asking for pics, but I ended up meeting a new friend, we…

I used a burner as well and it worked amazingly. When I had finally told my now Fiancé what he was texting me on and talking to me on was a burner number, he thought it was a great that I used a burner and that it was smart. I still get random texts from guys on that burner. Now I just use it for selling items online. Use a burner number!

I just saw this on FB as well. I would be so embarrassed if I saw someone wearing this. If you need to mark your man like this, you need to rethink your life and your relationship. Its not healthy at all.

This is the truth. I was 100% a secret in my last relationship. He had Facebook but never posted on it but at the same time was always on it and talking to people. Like if I posted a photo of us, I wasn't even supposed to tag him in the photo. Now I'm dating a guy who has never hidden me and if proud of being with me. Its a night and day difference. Do not settle. You do not have to be a secret and don't allow yourself to be a secret. It just makes it easier for them to have side chicks.

My Dad is the King of Mansplaining. My car died, and after Googling for a while I found the answer. It was a simple fuse near the battery that needed to be replaced. I was working on taking the battery cables off when my Dad drove by and stopped in to see what I was doing. We fought for 20 mins over it. He called me names and everything because I was being "dumb" and that fuse couldn't have been anything that was causing my issue. I plugged in my fuse, turned the car on, and guess what? It worke…

Google voice is your friend. Free throw away number that is extremely hard to trace. Get a guy who is a creep, delete the number and get a new one. Did this when I was OLD, met my boyfriend and ended up telling him the truth and giving him my real number after a few months and he thought it was an awesome idea.

I wish. My first Ex was 7inchs and had a notion that even a dildo would "stretch me out". So he would "approve" of them as long as they were smaller and not as thick. So glad I left that guy behind. What I ever saw in him I'll never know.

Really it depends on your own style. This sounds amazing to me as long as he also takes me out to dinners as well. If this is all that he is doing, then yeah, not ok. If this is mixed in, yes please!

This is vital! I was setting up a date to meet a guy and got enough information to look him up in the sex offender registry. He was a level 3 with a child under the age of 13. Google is your best friend. Its not difficult if you know their first/last name, at least how old they are, and the city they live in to start your search. I like voter registry pages. So much information just there as to what you may be dealing with.

I dated a guy for 2 months and I broke it off with him since he wasn't a huge fan of inside dogs and my dogs will never live outside. He was ok with this arrangement but I could tell he could have resentment because of it, and so I broke it off with him. 2 months and I can't beleive the feelings I already had for him and I miss him constantly. I know it wouldn't work and I would just fine a way to make it work, but in the long run he would just come to resent me, my dogs, and find a way to get h…
