He does know you, He built you. He died for you. OP craves love because we are built in His image. He love, and so we crave His Love. When we don't get it, we feel unsatisfied and try too replace with other things or people (which doesn't work).

Romantic love is self-less self-sacrificial love where a man and a woman are bound to each other and become one in marriage.
