1	Nurse poking fun at male health issue I appreciate all sorts of humor, and I do mean all sorts. I don't find this funny either because when you're in pain, you have other things to worry about than wondering if your nurse will help you or just stand there and make fun of you (and also that you came to her for help that she's expected to be giving you and she's brushing you off). I don't know how it is in other countries but in the US, circumcision is done on at least 50% of newborn babies - sometimes even without any consent. 1	A Serious Question Regarding the Purpose of Feminism It's only my opinion, I mean, I'm not a scholar in this subject, but here's what I gather about feminism: 1- In practice, there's two types. There's the type of feminist who wants complete equality between men and women, and there's the type who wants more rights for women. That's really the only question I feel qualified answering to. 1	Questions from a feminist My two cents: 1- To me, oppression is like a minefield. You can walk around and suddenly you trigger a mine - an instance of oppression. Oppression is not constant like swimming in lava would be, if you get what I mean. Some will be lucky and never walk on a mine, some will attract mines... whereas when swimming in a lava pit, you get burned the same whatever you do. 2	What are your thoughts on "splitting the bill"? or paying for her in general? I went out with a girl for the first time in my life not long ago, and we ate at a restaurant. I actually was not prepared for the bill and spent a lot of time thinking about it. When it came time to pay the bill she said she'd pay her part and didn't leave me time to argue, so I was okay with it (I would have been anyway - she made a decision herself, she's a grown woman).
