If only more red pillers would get this! For me bluepill is in the same corner as /r/WTF - just with a lot of sad context :P

Are RP (wo)men generally angry? I always assumed it was frustration.

Good move. Don't devote yourself to a philosophy - there will be plenty of time in life to do that later on. First you need to live, see what life is about FOR YOU. Don't let anybody else tell you until you have some experiences to figure out if they're making sense. Once you figure that out devote away ;)

First of all thank you for explaining! I think demonstrating abundance by your explanation is something we can all do from time to time. It might become a 'bad thing' to do in my book if you're being purely manipulative - saying you are going to leave your SO over something while you have no intention comes to mind. Then again you might have every intention to stand by your words in the moment and decide differently (moments) later... Relationships aren't so simple as to say 'this is a bad way t…

Ah alright that sounds sensible, so if I understand correctly: Value: Showing them you're awesome Abundance: Dropping hints there's other parties you could rock out at instead?

This is definitely true, posting the worst examples of trp in an attempt at satire is what tbp seems all about ;)

So what does it entail? :) I'm purely going by these phrases as posted, haven't really read too much trp.

As a clueless person, I have no clue. I will take some (very wild) guesses. Monk mode: Abstinence of some sort Dread game: Show your (potential) partner what they have to lose Get over Last Minute Resistance: Dont back down when you see somebody is interested Demonstrate value / abundance: Show what you have to offer?

So rather than defining circlejerk, you are attempting to circlejerk by yourself by ignoring his comment and basically replying to your own post? :P I think the mods made a great point - this is purple pill DEBATE and posts where everybody or the vocal majority is agreeing on one point of view only serve to kill off debate IN MY OPINION :)

I agree completely - more than once I opened threads I intented to contribute to only to be scared off by the overwhelming majority of upvoted replies being off on one side of the debate. Nobody wants to have debate in the middle of a shouting match :P

call it spewing bile, call it parody, that's just two sides of the same d20. It's a reaction to TRP.

I thought TBP was just mocking TRP. Your explanation makes sense though, it's more of an individual thing.

After reading no more than the first half of the wikipedia page on equity feminism I'm inclined to agree with Christina Hoff Sommers. I'm underinformed:D

Subbed to TBP because some of the posts were amusing. Stayed around because I saw some interesting discussion. Ended up on PPD instead. I don't understand why people think TBP is feminist or has any ideals at all. For me TBP is just links to 'lol look at this TRP idiot with his silly post'.

I learn about other people's beliefs, which I think is very valuable. TRP's values seem to be directly opposed to both the value system I grew up with and the ideas I have about sexual identity and sexual morality. Getting to understand even a little bit of why people feel so differently from me makes me feel smart :p

I have no problem with meaningless sex (or relationships for that matter :P). It creeps me out when people focus everything into a 'strategy' to get laid. It's like they can't be themselves and connect with people but have to fake some shit. There's a difference between being unemployed, poor and looking for a job and being unemployed, poor and looking for somebody to persuade to give you money. One is not always wrong (that person might be looking to throw cash away since they have plenty) but …

hehe didn't even think of that, the username's a reference to a strain of weed. I only found the pill reddits recently. ot: I'm with you :)

This 'niceguy strategy' and the trp approach are equally creepy to me, generalising all situations and people down to one question: "How can I manipulate this person into having meaningless sex with me?". I'm sure they can both 'work' but I feel the entire exercise is inherently fallacious.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
