I’m assuming you’re at an elite private in SoCal? Actually, no. I go to a public school, but one of the best ranked ones both academically and athletically. ​ As far as I know, the most kids get recruited from soccer, football, lacrosse, and baseball.

I mean, I want to play sports. Like I said, camaraderie, higher SMV, fitness, recruitment opportunities. In that case, should I do the things you listed first or talk to coaches asap?

Choose it how? The biggest problem is that my parents are insisting I have to play a sport, and if you don't make it freshman year, you can't play from then on.
