Most don't want older men so who exactly are you going to be dating? Once you're 30 you have about a 10% chance of getting a 20 year old. Once you're 40, you have a 5% chance. They also very rarely last. The older the man, the more likely divorce. I think that might be part of the reason it weirds everyone out. The only studies done on this were done after menopause, and before that there are several ways in which men age faster starting a decade or two before so they basically catch up quick. It's a sharper decline, while men's is more gradual. Women's is even more gradual until 50-60. If we're talking about aging in the sense of likelihood of dying, women age slower by a long shot.
