I’m a student and while I want to support the second option I simply can’t. Why potentially throw away a career when you can just remain silent and then voice your opinions later? I know I'm not going to be able to have a civil discussion about the george floyd arrest footage with my classmates. Even though he was clearly high and refusing to comply with the police, and a black officer was on the scene too, I'll be called racist just for suggesting that he wasn't innocent. Should he have died? No. But was he innocent? Definitely not. He was driving while high. And was it racism? Nope. Can't mention that to my classmates though.

Personally I’m proud of r/teenagers. I think our generation (I’m a teen) is going to be much more progressive and thoughtful than previous generations. Wouldn’t be surprised if someday even circumcision is viewed negatively.
