1	How ironically sexist... I still hardly see how that puts me in the wrong. By Google citing Princeton University's work and choosing to have it be Google's official means of defining words (as in, you don't have to click on any link to receive the definition), they are adhering their work, and should therefore be at the very least partially responsible for presenting it to people in the manner that it does. If it didn't compile it's own dictionary, then it sure as hell chooses to add words posthumously. The word has gained much traction the past few decades, ever since the Lorena Bobbit incident. The men's rights movement and it's subsequent vocabulary has been seeping into pop-culture and cultivated a huge following ever since (heck, the existence and size of this subreddit should be enough evidence for that). Misandry has been a word (although having slightly different meanings throughout history) since the 19th century. It doesn't stop it from being a word, but the word's exclusion from Google's dictionary makes it seem less meaningful or credible of a word. You can bet if "misogyny" and "feminism" was left out of Google's dictionary, it'd send people in an uproar, they would call Google "discriminatory", and this should be no different.	/r/MensRights	25/06/13 02:59 AM
