I'm trying to suggest that your challenge to find evidence against your admittedly weak argument is useless and illogical. That it is detrimental and antagonistic. Instead I suggest, and reiterate, that you reformulate what you're trying to say. I provided you with information in case it wasn't clear to you what the issue was. It's not intended to have an appreciable effect on the grander conversation, more of a friendly critique of you're contribution. I doubt it will derail anything.

No doubt. I fully agree with the decision to examine, and be skeptical. I think you're very right to point out that it's critical to be critical (sorry). A productive conversation would be one about how as people we can all assert our right to voice our discomfort and feel safe in spaces. Not any gender simply has that power (although clearly I'm here and involved in MRA because I see disparity). Let's just try and make something useful out of talking about it. Let's discuss how to politely assert our rights in let say, oh academic settings or work places. Not reality TV shows.

We don't live in a democracy, it's a republic (albeit a democratic one) . The people are represented by a smaller group of officials. Your right though, in a democracy all of the votes would be of equal weight - or as you put it, everyone's vote should matter. Also worth noting, all voting is conditional on participation in voter registration. As a result, there are battles (in court) over the legal qualifications for voter registration - legal immigration status, incarceration, etc.

I think that there is a very real problem of viewing victims/attackers as mutually exclusive roles. If two people assault each other they can each be a victim and an attacker simultaneously Victims and/or victim's groups advocating for litigation are on the attack, but that doesn't prevent them from being victims at the same time. Tl;dr don't buy into false dichotomies like the victim/attacker one - they aren't mutually exclusive.
