Divorce becoming so common in the last thirty years by a huge margin is just one. Government is another area where women don't really have to discriminate who fathers the child anymore or who they marry. The state will take care of you regardless of any bad decisions for the most part. Sex education and the constant attacks on abortion making it unsafe for women at times.
