As a club officer of a relatively large Toastmasters group, it is all dependent on the club whether or not that you will gain anything from it. Fortunately, mine has people who are actually there to improve their oratory and actually put in the effort to do so, and it has definitely made a positive impact on my confidence. My advice to you is to keep looking for a club into you find one with people who are driven (these clubs will usually have people who have won speaking competitions by the way…

I have one more year left before I receive both bachelor's degrees. Next Spring, I will only be enrolled in 6 credit hours and am currently enrolled in 15.

I find that if I do not meditate at all during the day, even if it is just focusing on my breath through my nose while walking between classes, my focus diminishes really quickly. For example, when I am reading my textbooks after I have just meditated, all of the concepts come naturally and vividly to me (and we're talking subjects like numerical computing and machine learning here). If I did not meditate, I find my thoughts wandering all over the place and in turn, I cannot focus on what I am r…

Speak from your diaphragm and never from your throat; doing so only makes people sound nasally and Beta. Unfortunately, not all of us have the voice of James Earl Jones, but there are exercises on the internet (can't link them now since I am on mobile) that warm up your vocal chords and relax your throats muscles so that your voice comes across as more boomy and assertive. Also, practice speaking with a neutral inflection at the end of your phrases and words. Many argue that you should use a dow…

I am quite average in terms of height here in the U.S. (5'10") and I am quite thin actually; not Auschwitz, but more like a cross-country runner.

I am a mixed-race (white and Native American) and I usually dress in a "smart-casual" kind of way (i.e, pullover v-neck sweaters with a polo underneath along with khakis and chukkas for example now in the fall). As for the hair, I am letting grow out a bit to show off the thickness, although it is currently in the stage of looking like crap.

I am an undergrad earning my bachelors in computational mathematics and have a 3.92 GPA. Everything you said is extremely true and works. The key is focus and quality of study. You will gain more from 30 minutes of laser-like focus than 4 hours of half-assed study time (e.g. with music, having YouTube/TV on, chatting with friends, checking your phone, etc.). Ever since I started employing the methods you described (with the exception of stimulants), my grades have increased while simultaneously …

"Ugly" chicks that you are describing generally hate seeing men that have options in general, not necessarily high SMV men like you (I'm about a 5.5/10 overall, but many unattractive women that you describe hate the shit out of me and are hostile, even when I'm doing my job in customer service. Literally every complaint about me is from one of these bitter fat, ugly women for no reason at all). I figure because its a wake-up call to reality in that it reminds them of how much they are rejected a…

It isn't that women aren't attracted to smart guys, it is just that a good chunk of book smart guys are socially awkward, have crappy hygiene, are physically weak and have no hobbies outside of video games. Believe me, I am an undergrad in computational mathematics and even just the presence of some of these guys is cringeworthy. Women look at us the same way that we look at them: when we see a girl for the first time, we check to see if we find her physically attractive first (whatever your pre…

A student earning his bachelor's degree in computational mathematics. Hopefully, I can make it to a statistics graduate program to eventually be a data scientist in a bigger and better city.

Sounds good. What would be some examples of unpleasant mental challenges outside of approaching?

I'd like to add: Remove toxic people from your life. If somebody doesn't have their shit together, has no direction in life, or actively tries to pull you down, it is time to let them go.

I personally will only be friends with a girl (i.e., spend my time with her) if she provides some value to my life (access to certain parties, preselection, wingwoman or even some tangible talent). Otherwise, as soon as my gut tells me that she's using me as an emotional tampon, compliment puppy, ATM or anything similar, she's gone.

When I first swallowed TRP at 19 (I'm 21 now), the very first decision I made was move back in my parents and attend the university that is located in my city. The reason why I did that was because I was already ~$10,000 in student loan debt from living in a dorm room at a university across my state. Since net worth takes time to accumulate, the very first step I did was kill activities that brought it down (in this case, student loans). Now that I moved back in, I can proudly say that I am rece…

I'm actually from the United States. As for the Monk Mode situation, the reason why I entered it is because I realized that I am not taking control of my life the way a man should, but rather I was letting the opinions of others control my beliefs, decisions and actions. The mediocre SMV was just the tip of the iceberg. My mother definitely was overbearing since she is one of those "strong, independent" types that grew up without a father and I spent the majority of my childhood with her because…

A way to see if a guy is an enemy is improve yourself. If he is a true friend, then he will support you and may even join in with you. If he is not, he will do anything, passive or direct, to sabotage your attempts. I once had this friend who is very privileged (upper-class family, good looks, is going to take over a blue-collar business at 23, stable family), was one of the cooler kids growing up, and never has had a problem with girls in his life. He befriended me in high school and everything…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
