do you stand if for instance there are two gay dads or mums? I guess they need the gentleman's club too? But, isn't that just forcing binaries on them (the parents wouldn't be too happy with that would they)? FUCK the world is too confusing. The person clearly said one parent. Having one parent is not just about the gender of that one parent. If that one parent has to work full time to support multiple kids, they're not going to have as much time as two people to interact with their kids, hence …

Where did I say the girl is innocent? Where was I defending the girl? Where did I say the guy deserved it? and where did I say the sentence was fair? Put your fucking pitchfork down.

I'm not saying it's less wrong. Neither do I know the sentencing guidelines, and I'm actually having a hard time finding out what she was convicted of period. I'm just trying to understand why exactly the sentence was so minimal. I wager it's because the crime she was convicted of did not take into account what she actually did to waste so much police time.

Read before you call bullshit on anything; The guy accused was in prison at the time the girl claimed the attacks happened. That implies he did a bit more than peeing in somebody's garden hey? EDIT: If she went the extent that she had a list drawn up, you can also bet she didn't just pick anyone. She went for people with serious offenses to make her story more plausible.

I didn't say it is. I said I think to a certain extent. This is not black and white. just because he was a previous offender Current offender. The man being in prison was probably a stroke of luck on his behalf, as it made his innocence indisputable. And what exactly did the victim have to lose by this allegation considering they were already in prison? She targeted men nobody cares about for a reason.

Failed your exams? Well.. you could stay another year at sixth form and work your way to uni... or, you could start a lengthy legal process with the uni, sixth form and the justice system whereby you accuse someone nobody cares about of a crime they didn't commit in order get something you don't deserve.

But that's a completely illogical step to make; In this case, she was only going to target convicted sex offenders. There is no alternative time-line here. And I'm making the point to stem the idea of men being terrified of this happening to them; This should not be the basis of any fear, because she was only ever going to target convicted sex offenders. the crime is the same. I'm having a hard time finding it, but I doubt she was convicted for alleging rape anyway. 2 years for wasting police ti…

I'm not the judge and I don't know the sentencing guidelines. I'm just talking from the perspective of potential victims, which in this case was limited to a specific group of people who have done enough damage to their own lives anyway. EDIT: It really depends upon the crime she's been prosecuted for. It's probably something generic like perverting the course of justice rather than something related the crime she actually comitted, which is the real injustice here. I feel like if the government…

Being accused of rape is a terrifying idea to me. You wouldn't have been on her list of targets because I assume you're not a convicted sex offender. I think to a certain extent this also becomes a victimless crime; there is no life left to destroy considering the demonisation of sex offenders, which in serious crimes requires identity reassignment by the state upon release to prevent vigilantism.

It's not that kind of case. She accused a convicted sex offender she's likely never met; her case falling apart when it was discerned the accused was in prison when the supposed attack(s) occurred. She apparently had a diary detailing her research into convicted men and their offences. EDIT: "the kind of case" I'm referring to here is the "drunken hook-up -> withdrawn consent" bullshit. This was a calculated scheme.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
