I cannot comprehend how any straight man with a sex drive can make it to that point without going crazy That's the thing, they go crazy.

I've come to realise it's futile to try to make some people here understand that, not a single week without a thread of this kind and it shows an alarming lack of empathy.

Exactly why I asked but she said he's straight up ugly

Was he ugly but unconventionally attractive to you or did you also consider him ugly?

Definitely good, there's no better way to lock down a man than making him feel desired and actually making an effort to pursue him.

It's about their character more than anything. A woman can show responsibility, ambition and discipline with either a career or by becoming a homemaker, the latter is way underappreciated. Being used as a wallet implies the woman isn't contributing, if I work all day while the wife watches her favourite drama then yes, it's abusive, but if she spent all day cleaning, cooking and parenting then I don't see the problem and the kids are raised properly which is their main advantage over career focu…

If you swap "girlfriend" with water and "need for a deep social bond" with thirst it's evident these people are either delusional or have never experienced genuine loneliness. We are social animals and no amount of furious sigma grinding can make up for that.

Yes, therapy only really works when someone's traumatized and/or has warped views about something (As in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) Being depressed or anxious about lack of social fulfilment is only natural and can't be treated with therapy, it's as much of a basic need as water and food. Small, fragile mammals like rabbits and hamsters can even die of loneliness and yet there's way too many people that think romantic frustration = entitlement

This right here, being comfortable around someone is a prerequisite to a friendship, OP will obviously never find women having friends of either gender whose presence they find uncomfortable. Being someone that people feel comfortable around is something anyone can do, even unattractive people.

I think it's unreasonable to demand monogamy while at the same time withholding sex or claiming that it's not important. Monogamy is a privilege you earn from keeping your partner satisfied. Within reason of course, stress, work, pregnancy will get in the way but if you're perfectly healthy and free from stress but still refuse to meet your partner's needs. then don't make a surprised Pikachu face when they cheat on you or demand an open relationship.

If anything, it means women having children are oddly okay with it considering the stress it entails, I don't think it would be too unreasonable to think a couple raising a child with equal effort from both parents would report a net increase in happiness.

You're not undesirable at all, you're already there by being thin, hygienic and friendly (all are things you can change if necessary) other than that try getting into a hobby or joining a community with men in them, a gym is probably a good idea, you would already be working on your physique and the men there are already guaranteed to be disciplined and in good shape, which I can't say for other male dominated hobbies like gaming I assure you no single men will turn down an average woman with th…

Absolutely, social media has warped people's expectations of both other people and the interactions we are supposed to have, back then you were limited by people living near you and of the same age. Now all we see are photoshopped instagram models going on expensive trips and it tricks us into thinking that's normal.

Food and Sex are the most important things for all living beings, it's just that the males don't risk anything from participating in the intercourse itself while the female typically does, so to most men, sex is no different from craving a cheeseburger. Not having the cheeseburger makes you physiologically uncomfortable so you get up to make the cheeseburger and eat it, some pay for the cheeseburger and eat it For women (and females as a whole) it entails months if not years of vulnerability whi…

Oh, I didn't mean to imply it's an excuse, it's just that you shouldn't hold a grudge against them, much less let it ruin your life.

It just really goes to show that modern western women's problems really amount to just that, their boyfriends not shaving their pubes... All while men still deal with disproportionate unemployment, death, suicide, illness, shorter lifespan, etc.

In general, when I look back at all the douchebags in my life I can tell they were that way because of immaturity and a terribly underdeveloped sense of empathy. In most cases it takes 19-20 years of age for them to stop being like that but some people are bound to either take way more time or outright never change, those are the adults that keep making others miserable but the truth is they just don't know any better.

Wasn't this supposed to be common knowledge by now? It's the women getting choking and hair pulling kinks, not the men, despite what twitter feminists would have you believe.

You also have to account for vices preventing you from making any goals to start with. Temporary, instant gratification can make you complacent, and not in a good way. If you're a millionaire with no possible shortcoming, then yeah, knock yourself out on porn and videogames, it's not like there would be anything left worth pursuing.

I read about that and an experiment done on mice. Apparently, scientist figured out a way to "turn off" individual alleles to prevent the recessive, unhealthy genes that result from this kind of reproduction from expressing.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
