My husband cheated and I'm not sure how to handle it.If that's what you were going for, you should have included that in your original post. All your comment accomplishes is provocation. | /r/RedPillWomen | 26/09/17 05:11 PM
'Slag culture' has destroyed datingThis is the best reply. While you may find a gentler man through dating around, what you will most likely find is the modern guy who's looking for sex or a girl to 'hang around with'. The best way to find a guy who shares similar standards to you is to find him through a a shared activity, church or volunteer community. The type of guy you're looking for will probably not be at a bar, on tinder, etc. Edit: this discussion reminds me of a thread here the comment by /u/Pxzib specifically is a good… | /r/RedPillWomen | 11/09/17 04:28 PM
I can't break up with my boyfriendAll signs just point to my current LTR not being worth it Your concerns are valid. You wouldn't think twice about giving up the stability you have provided for yourself if you trusted your current man. He hasn't shown himself to be a man you can respect and look up to for two years now. You have vetted him thoroughly enough to let him go. I know it's very tough when you find someone and like their family/they like you, but don't stay in the relationship just for family. It's not worth it. And li… | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/09/17 11:55 PM
Please, don't become this woman. Swallow the Red PillThere is a lot of pressure, both external and internal, for women to be the 24-hour woman. But this article is written by a bitter woman who had a hard time discovering her limits, burned herself out, and then blames the patriarchy. She doesn't take responsibility for herself, finding her own happiness and ensuring she finds fulfillment through her job and social life. When she talks about being on a panel at work introducing her job or field to interns, she immediately feels oppressed by being … | /r/RedPillWomen | 08/09/17 12:37 PM
Fiction recommendations? My favorite was the Annie's People trilogy The Preacher's Daughter, The Englischer and The Brethren. But most of her stuff is pretty good :) | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/08/17 11:18 AM
Fiction recommendations?Jan Karon and Beverly Lewis are two 'Christian' authors. Jan Karon is not overly preachy, although her main character is an Episcopal priest. I read her Mitford series as a teen, and even though the romance features two older characters, it was a very cute read. Beverly Lewis writes Amish romances, and can be a bit preachy, but they are mostly just fluff stories. Do you prefer one genre over another? | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/08/17 05:44 PM
Update to previous threadIt honestly sounds like you are forcing yourself to go along with what was originally a dealbreaker for you in the first place. If you can constructively move through the resentment this decision is causing you to feel - then great. You will able to see this man as a leader and be happy with him. If, however, you aren't able to, then this will next step will fail. If not moving in first is a true value to you, don't compromise on it. However, if you can get yourself to see the bigger picture and… | /r/RedPillWomen | 23/08/17 07:12 PM
I hate working out with my boyfriend. This in my experience is the best way to handle the situation. When husband and I were dating, we worked out together and started having me do lifting with him which I was not into at all. Now we just do cardio together and separate for the rest of gym time to do our own stuff. If your boyfriend is really set on helping you lift, take a look at the Strong Curves program. If you haven't heard of it, it is a lifting program for women. | /r/RedPillWomen | 25/02/17 11:05 AM
| – | I need some help motivating my husband.I agree with with this. OP will not be so tolerable and willing to do 80% for long. As much as a challenge trying to balance household stuff and full time career may be, I see too many new posts in her and RP women where the woman tries to be everything. And this is where feminism utterly fails women. We can't be everything and do it all, at least not for long. | /r/RedPillWives | 13/02/17 04:01 PM |
GratituesdayGrateful for a ladies' night out after work this evening. It really breaks up the work week and let's me refresh. Caught up on laundry; it's such a neverending battle balancing work and home lately. I love spending time with my husband. He is very thoughtful and does little things to make life easier for those around him. I am just so glad he is in my life :) | /r/RedPillWives | 31/01/17 06:37 PM
| – | Inspired by a deleted postThis could be slightly off topic, but that post also made me think about a quote from First, Kill All the Marriage Counselors: "Never do for your husband what he can do for himself." I am not sure what she meant by that, and it seems contradictory to several pieces of advice mentioned here, such as being husband's soft place to land, assist him in ways that will enhance his life, etc. The referenced post made me wonder if her husband was asking something of her that should have been his responsi… | /r/RedPillWives | 28/01/17 02:29 AM |
Husband wants to lose weight, has asked me to manage it since I do all the cooking. In addition to this, look for a sample meal plan that OP and husband can both follow. Show him MFP or the lose it app to track calories. I eat keto and husband does not. However, it's very easy to tweak meals so I can keep keto while he doesn't have to. | /r/RedPillWives | 27/01/17 05:00 PM
| – | Free Friday - January 27, 2017I promised myself I would keep my mouth shut over this issue but it is gettong more difficult with my family members, especially my sister-in-law and mom who believe that the women's march was this beautiful, powerful experience that they think will mobilize all American women into action against Trump. When I ask what result they are looking for, they just rant about Trump and say they want to send him this powerful message. To me, the only message this march sent is that people are unhappy wit… | /r/RedPillWives | 27/01/17 04:06 PM |
| – | Random RP ThoughtsReading First, Kill All the Marriage Counselors by Laura Doyle, and I am pleasantly surprised by how awesome it is. I am ruminating on the idea that women have the power in the relationship to keep it a pleasant, emotionally safe place. I am early on in the book, just chapter 3, so far only one of the six skills has been discussed. It's very basic, but this idea of taking responsibility for your own happiness instead of trying to change your circumstances, job, friends, and other external factor… | /r/RedPillWives | 25/01/17 10:43 PM |
| – | Birth orders and relationshipsThey really did miss an opportunity to talk about only gendered children in families with multiple kids. In my relationship, this is especially true. We are both eldest children and I am the ildest of 3 girls while he is the only male. Because his oldest sister is also a strong personality, it changes the sibling dynamic significantly. It would be interesting to read a discussion on that. Would my husband be more take charge with brothers rather than resembling an only child? Also I think the pr… | /r/RedPillWives | 24/01/17 04:17 PM |
"Are You Sure You Aren’t Unhappy?" - Ladies Do You Experience This?Maybe this is a little odd, but I am finding a calm, one could possibly even consider "boring" day-to-day routine in my relationship a welcome dynamic. Granted I come from a family where some members are quite dramatic, even over the little things, so maybe that explains it. Love the heartburn analogy. It's so true! | /r/RedPillWives | 23/01/17 07:31 PM
Weight concernsAfter reading all these comments, I definitely think it is worth a sit down discussion with your husband. Explain that you want to create a healthier lifestyle for the whole family by how you approach food. And since this issue is important to him, you two can discuss ways you both can improve. It doesn't have to be about his weight at all, just how you as a family do food. | /r/RedPillWives | 19/12/16 05:02 AM
Healthy recipes that can be easily bulked upI make a lot of keto and paleo recipes and add rice, quinoa or some other carb side for my husband, who can easily eat double what I can in a sitting. | /r/RedPillWives | 15/12/16 04:58 PM
The "Listen More, Talk Less" ChallengeBeginning of the week report: So, I have set my intentions to listen first to those around me, whether it be at work, in group of friends or with my husband. I do have a tendency to blurt thoughts out, or form my response before the other person has finished talking. Over the last few months, I have "progressed" to interrupting my own blurts, apologizing and insisting the other party co tune their thought. This week is a great way to step the practice of listening up a notch or two. Several conv… | /r/RedPillWives | 02/11/16 12:17 AM
The "Listen More, Talk Less" ChallengeYou are not alone! I have insert foot in mouth disease (or however you say it!). As I get older and acquire more patience, it gets easier to listen without thoughts on the forefront of my mind. Wishing you and everyone success this week :) | /r/RedPillWives | 02/11/16 12:09 AM

Weekly Reflections with RPWi: 10/31/2016 Sexy Ghost editionI hope to participate a little more actively here, especially since the monthly goals align so closely with personal goals I am working toward in a new marriage and newish job. Good: Husband and I are taking our honeymoon this week (we married earlier this year). Very excited as we pack, plan all the touristy stuff and just have time to ourselves. We are going iverseas and can't be more excited about this little adventure! Bad: we both have been batling sinus stuff and there is no end in sight. … | /r/RedPillWives | 31/10/16 05:27 PM

Talked to my friend about relationship issues and now she won't stop pestering meThe advice in your edit is very valuable and I hope OP tries this. Engaging more in hobbies, avtivities, work or volunteer projects or whatever can't replace quality time with the SO but can certainly alleviate the void it leaves. | /r/RedPillWives | 31/10/16 04:16 PM
Would You Rather...Tough questions, love it! I would rather : Have no one show up to y wedding Be in jail for ten years Lose my hearing Never have cramps Lose my hair | /r/RedPillWives | 12/10/16 11:44 PM
GratituesdayInspired by a recommendation from here, I try to name at least one thing I am truly grateful for each morning. Forgot to to that for a week now, so this thread is a great wat to start thw habit back up! I am grateful for my husband's ability to see the positive in everything, especially when it's hard to see. Grateful for having a long weekend to rejuvenate and reset my mind after a few weeks straight of job stress. So thankful to live in New England and watch the leaves turn orange and red! | 3 | Advice Request for religious ladies hereI am a new ish person here, but what I have to say I think fits into RP framework (if not, sorry and I will try to change it or delete comment). If you are interested in going to church with your FH talk to him more about his perspective on church. There are many different denominations, many of which are loving and focused on loving God and others, doing good works in the community and being a positive place for people to connect and grow. Unfortunately, there are strict churches that will try … | /r/RedPillWives | 26/09/16 08:18 PM
Some interesting marriage advice from /r/AskMenOh god yes, my parents divorce and remarriages definately screwed up my view of relationships and even men entirely for a long while. Same. It definitely takes awhile to adjust to a healthy view of family/marriage after you learn one and find someone with a similar view. My husband comes from an upper class traditional family and I come from lowerclass single parent one. It has been quite the adjustment. | /r/RedPillWives | 17/09/16 12:49 AM
Some interesting marriage advice from /r/AskMenI'm down for an online book club. Those books were very praised in my high school / early college years. | /r/RedPillWives | 15/09/16 12:26 PM
Why I decided to go back to work and what I have learned in the process.Cool, I'm interested in hearing the process of being more grateful. It's amazing how a paradigm shift can change your outlook on life from bad to amazing. Alright, back to lurking. I really enjoy the stories and discussions on here. | /r/RedPillWives | 13/09/16 12:00 PM
Do women actually want men to suffer? If women can't TRULY love a man in the same way that a man loves a woman, and if women use their looks to deceive and manipulate men into loving them only to break their heart and wallet while showing no remorse or guilt, then why do women continually insist upon ‘finding the right guy’/all men are douchebags? This is not true for all women. Most women. Healthy women don't do this..healthy women want to be happy and positive and facilitate this in the lives of the people around them. If this is … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/09/16 11:16 PM
Why do people get into long term relationships to begin with?I lurk in TBP and RPWi so I guess that makes me purple? Anyway, I love and treasure my family. The men I dated always felt like a part of my family and I always valued being around their family. Still true with my husband and our families. A strong family can provide a solid foundtion for a person. My family growing up wasn't very stable, so I worked towards making a healthy me - in a relationship or not so then when/if I married it would be a good situation. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/09/16 11:05 PM
Need to vent... I really regret immersing myself in TRP.This is the one thing that makes me hesitate to swallow the red pill (for womwn anyway). This whole idea that men are supposed to only show strength to their wives/gfs and never show vulnerability or confide in them. What relationship like that can survive? Good to see you didn't get stuck in the redpill state of mind. | /r/ExRedPill | 05/09/16 11:16 PM
Captain second guesses me and I can't help but feel resentfulI've been reading RP stuff for the past month, and I enjoy this sub, makes me think and want to be a better wife, etc. even though I came in from the blue pill out of curiosity and assumptions...I think this place is great. So, I thought I read all the redpill sidebars....is there a detailed post or webpage on Game someone would be willing to link to? Thanks :) | /r/RedPillWives | 02/09/16 05:23 PM
