The reason for this is that the cost of women assessing the safety of their environment empirically would be too risky in the past. Thus, instead of measuring it directly, they developed an inclination to do it indirectly. They measure the safety of their general environment by the degree to which their mates are able to bring resources into the home. The simplified rationale is if he can bring me all of this, than the environment must be safe enough for him to do so. But it does not end here. T…

These are some heavy things man. It makes sense why you would gyow. I suggest trying to communicate with people on here and doing things you enjoy. Im pretty young so I have not gone through stuff on that level but I hope this reddit will help. And also, no shame in being aware and doing whats going to bring you peace without hurting anyone.

I have tremendous admiration for the fight you have in you man, as a younger guy it is very inspiring. Hope the mgtow content and the support of your true friends will help you see yourself through this.

Do we? I dont think that men commonly do it, despite the fact that we have our own instinctive drives that would compel us to do it. But I also think that I am not really able to fully convey my idea. For instance, women could get a little beta attention here and there, casually flirt, maybe have close male friends that they know arent head over heals for them. These would all fall in the realm of practicing their instinct of hypergamy (in this instance increasing the their provisioning) but wit…

The general assumption that I make about the people in the manosphere is that they have put in some thought into their views, that is why if I receive feedback that is so direct, both good or bad, I try to understand their reasoning behind it. Would you explain. I am actually curious. Also, I dont understand, were you going to down vote your own reply ?

"You must become a man women would rather share than be without." This cuts into you like a surgeons scalpel.

Yo man, this is one of the most deeply insightful and coherently crafted analyses of cultural phenomena I have ever read. Blown away. Could you post a reading list of some sort ?

I dont understand why you would say this, you make it seem as if people can not have conflicting internal drives. Hypergamy: "I am the most attracted to the male that can give me the best deal of the combination of material resources, genes and status. Compassion, "I feel motivated for the wellbeing of my partner". If compassion is sufficient, the motivation to benefit someone will out do the motivation to pursue the "better catch". This is what I meant by it. Think about it, almost everyone lik…

Other than the fact that you seem to agree that women do not have compassion, what do you think about the entirety of what I wrote ?

I would appreciate it if you could give me a brief explanation. Also why is the whole thing a drivel? And by that I take it that you mean it is an insignificant post, yes?

But I can also say that the legal system system would not even be necessary if women had compassion for men. The legal system is essentially an external check on people who are not inclined to act morally for internal reasons.

Why do you never want to be romantically involved with a woman ? This is a genuine question.

No I would not, I would try to get the best that I could, but unlike the analogous situation for women (friend zoning) I dont actively pursue girls that I find unattractive in order to get sexual favors without commitment. I dont do this because despite the fact that I would enjoy the sexual favors (that would probably be given with a better attitude due to the chick visibly being involved with a higher status male), I dont like the possibility of having a negative impact on someone else's wellb…

"The only time a acting and thinking to meet a goal like raise children, protect others, etc., is not a drug high is when the full mind is engaged, when it's a combination of introspection and will, and it's not just emotional at all but a long-term decision brought to action." Why are you assuming that a mans connection to a women cannot be the way you described above. And I don't have to have a detailed understanding of the neurobiology of psychedelic drugs in order to understand that the locu…

You very well might be casting pearls before swine. We live in times where the female reproductive drive and all its concomitant instincts are being hyper stimulated to the point where the female psychology has become almost fully taken over by them. Since these drives are immoral, and since women seem to have not cultivated anything to go alongside them, most women have become fully amoral. The more people there are in the word interacting with people amorally, the more they are going to start …

I understand and agree that at broad enough of a level of analysis, that description makes sense. However, it seems too broad to really be meaningful. Pretty much all human behavior and subjective experience can be thought of as an outcome of those three things. So I agree but I dont know what to do with it. On another note, I think that talking about highly subjective phenomena, emotional states and visceral experiences in a way that depersonalizes them is not effective on our part. There is th…

Thank you very much for you well thought out input. However I do not agree but I don't know if I will be able to communicate my point of disagreement as I think it is pretty subtle. Imagine two versions of you. One not in love (nil) the other in love (il). In both cases however, you have a partner. Furthermore, assume that your partner consists of two broad components, her attributes and her wellbeing. Both your nil and il versions like this persons net attributes. They are in line with your tas…

Firstly, and I dont mean to come off as condescending, but you seem intelligent enough to know that love and sacrifice arent the same concept. But since your initial answer was sacrifice, I take it that you think both concepts are intimately connected. In some ways I agree. Or at least I can see why people would see it that way. My hang up is that what makes a person prefer to sacrifice something that they otherwise would want for someone else? Again the emphasis is on the fact that they choose …

I see what you mean. But I think that this is the word being hijacked by women to actually mean what they want it to mean. For example it seems that when women say it, they mean that they want your utility, when men say it they mean they are willing to give that utility in most cases with the assumption that they will receive all the moral and material support that they can get from this woman. Under the mentioned circumstances, both parties usually tend to feel the high of having found a mate s…

I dont think that really cuts it. I mean there are a lot of inanimate things that I like a lot but I would not say I love them the way I love my best friends for example. Did you really mean this or was it a kind of trolling answer ?

So are you saying that there aren't any people that you love in this world? Friends or parents perhaps ?
/r/MGTOW09/12/15 07:26 PM

But the only reason that the whole thing can work is because women cant love men in the m moral sense that you put forth. Because if they could, than this would make them a very unfit tool to lure men into bondage. Also, I get the point that its a neurobiological thing, but demeaning it just because it is doesn't make sense because everything is neurobiological. So saying that its a drug high does not explain a whole lot. Is loving your close friend a drug high, is loving your father or mother a…

I think I did not ask my question clearly enough. What I mean by the word "love" in this context is the common element in all the different meanings that the word is used in. For example there is love for friends, love for family, love for children etc. Romantic love is a part of this group as well. I am assuming that there must be some core thing that we mean by love that applies to all the ways in which the word is used. Romantic love, familial love and brotherly love must all have something i…

I guess I think it is because not all men are as analytical as you. Some people might still base their big life decisions not so much on utility but more on idealistic notions like love. If they perceive MTGOW as something that negates the possibility of such ideal notions existing, they may have too great an inner conflict to ever open up to the ideas. Granted, the core message is very harsh, "women cant love" but that is better than "love does not exist". Having a description of love would mak…

Could you further elaborate? The reason that I ask is that it could also be said is that what you sacrifice for your love is not truly a sacrifice because you would actually prefer to make it ? I dont know if that made sense.

Man I really cant say anything other than I feel your pain. Maybe this might be an opportunity to further strengthen your friendships with like minded male friends? Other than that I have dont know what to tell. I am basically at the same place.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
