2	Divorce reform, child support reform. Wrong. No fault divorce opened the flood gates to divorce for cash and prizes with little to no impact to the party receiving the award. Gee, I can stay with my husband who works all day and doesn’t tingle me anymore, or I can divorce him, he pays me thousands each month, I get a new man who subsidizes me, and I’ve now upgraded my life. She can feign an inability to refinance, or have an actual inability to refinance. The debt will stay on your credit report and affect your DTI ratios hamstringing your future ability to own a home or buy on credit. Then, your only recourse will be to spend MORE money taking her back to court for the same judge who hates men to tell you “that’s life” or “sorry we’ll give her another year”.
