!!! Reading through this thread, I feel very lucky to have had almost the complete opposite experience with my Indian guy. ACTUALLY when I was 19 a new boyfriend (who seemed pretty normal until this point but there were probably red flags I missed at that age) once tried to get me into "knife play" so it is unfortunately a thing.
