-1	Gender is a social construct therefore Toxic Masculinity cannot exist. If anything I think the transgender movement has in a weird way enforced gender roles further and created more of a divide between male vs female social roles than previously existed. And I’m speaking from a neutral perspective and not at all trying to be derogatory towards the trans movement or any LGBTQ+. Think about it though, the way things were trending in the early 2010s or so, gender roles were being knocked down. 2	Gender is a social construct therefore Toxic Masculinity cannot exist. It’s unfortunate because now if we talk about the patriarchy, misogyny, or any other buzz words like that to try to make an actual feminist point (in the name of equality), other men turn their brains off because those words have been misused so much. “Patriarchy” especially.
