Yup and what’s sad is some people would love to have what she has and instead have to pay thousands of pounds for IVF or are infertile. I struggled to read this because most people just want a healthy baby at the end of the day.

Yes I love it. I got teary while watching it, it brought out all my emotions as a mother of a son. Well done John Lewis, best Christmas advert in years

This is so sad to read. One of the most important things in life is to be mentally and physically healthy. This is all anyone should want for their family regardless of gender.

Agreed, shows like Adolescence really made me feel so anxious about raising my lovely son although it shouldn’t have done! I also worry about male role models in films/tv too

I agree, be kind, polite and respectful to people and judge someone based on how they treat others and not on their biological sex. There’s good and bad in both sexes. It’s all down to their personality

I’m a young woman who supports it. Mostly because I have a young son and I want the best for him and a good future for him. I want him to see good role models on Tv/film like the equivalent of the Barbie film. Also speaking from first hand experience but I believe that there are men out there who are in emotionally abusive relationships where they are being controlled and have been isolated from their families (this has happened in my family) but no one talks about it.

I am on maternity leave now and it’s amazing. Even though the lack of sleep is hard, it’s much easier than commuting every day into an office and working. I absolutely love being on leave and will be so sad when it ends! So I don’t agree that being a stay at home parent is harder than working away from home although this is only from my own experience and I appreciate it’s different for others.

Number 23 is so true and real and so sad for some parents of sons. This has happened with my sibling and the amount of pain and sadness it has caused is awful and I wouldn’t wish it on any family.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
