That doesn’t refute my point. It’s a one in a million look vs one in a hundred. Yes you can find something who looks exactly like the person you want, but you’re not surrounded by look a-likes when you’re talking to them.

This assumes there’s some game with set rules beyond what not to do. In finances, you can make a handful of well placed investments and move up. There is no button you can press to make a person like you. They just decide that upon seeing you. You can’t reason with instinct. You can’t gamify another person’s brain. The only game here is the lottery.

Not going to disagree that women give shit advice on Reddit, but I don’t see how listening to a successful man is better. The use an old joke “if you take financial advice from a lottery winner, he’ll tell you to buy a lottery ticket.” Someone born with good genes or got lucky a few times doesn’t know what’s going to help someone without that. Just as a woman doesn’t know what challenges a guy faces.

There is literally nothing in there about arrogant egos colliding unless you read motive into it. If anything this quote is about the kind of hazing intent to break a person’s ego. If you can’t see that, you aren’t trying to engage fairly.

You guys might be talking about separate things here. I don’t really have a desire for vengeance after getting hazed. I simply take the punishment and move on.
