A CHALLENGE TO THE BRIGADERS:Yeah, that's sound logic and I can get behind that. I've seen a few of my friends and family suffer in destructive relationships and I do think this philosophy can serve as a useful guide for a lot of people. I'm just not sure that everyone else here is as sensible and I think some of their behavior could cloud the larger picture and ultimately damage the credibility of what the rest of you are trying to achieve. | /r/MGTOW | 11/11/17 06:25 PM
A CHALLENGE TO THE BRIGADERS:Fair enough. I've always thought the legal ramifications of marriage undermine the whole idea but as I said before, neither of us are in a rush to "make it official". I've been looking at some marriage/divorce statistics and they're pretty sad. Certainly less favorable to men, I'm not denying that. But taking into account the current divorce rate (~50%?), the average length of time couples are together before getting married (~25 months), education levels, religion, age at marriage, etc... We se… | /r/MGTOW | 11/11/17 04:54 PM
A CHALLENGE TO THE BRIGADERS:It's been 7 years. We've spent countless nights together. We've stayed at each other's homes for weeks at a time (sure, laugh if you'd like). I know what it's like to share space with her. I know her issues and she knows mine. I'm not saying that marriages fail due to lack of common sense. I'm saying that if you feel profound resentment towards your partner and don't have the energy to deal with it then it's common sense to split up. And yeah, sex is great. But that's not the only thing I'm look… | /r/MGTOW | 11/11/17 04:32 AM
A CHALLENGE TO THE BRIGADERS:Incessant nagging and bitching, too afraid to share how you feel about a certain issue so you hold on to it until it boils over and "you've been feeling this way for months" yet didn't have the decency to discuss the issue when it was still relevant. Going back on your word, unclear expectations, gaslighting, etc etc. Are you saying that working through those issues is impossible or are you saying it's not worth it to try? We've dealt with a handful of them are still together because we've worke… | /r/MGTOW | 11/11/17 12:50 AM
A CHALLENGE TO THE BRIGADERS:We've been together for 7 years and aren't living together. We've been together since high school and are currently in our last years of college (same school). We plan to live together eventually but aren't going to commit until we both have stronger economic foundations. We're in no rush to get married. And yes, I realize we're young and haven't dealt with many of the economic obstacles a lot of couples have to deal with. With that being said, we've both witnessed enough destructive relationshi… | /r/MGTOW | 10/11/17 11:59 PM
A CHALLENGE TO THE BRIGADERS:I answered the questions as completely as I could, given that most of them are non-starters or phrased to elicit a specific response. Again, not trying to flame anyone here. But you did ask "How do you win with women". Do you not see the problem with your phrasing? The basic concept of winning implies some form of competition. What do you want me to say? You DON'T win with women? Ok. But if a relationship becomes something that you have to win, it's unhealthy. Maybe your problem isn't women, may… | /r/MGTOW | 10/11/17 07:33 PM
A CHALLENGE TO THE BRIGADERS:Uh, I don't want to cause any trouble here. I came here browsing from the default subs and wanted to see what all the fuss was about, but I'll participate. How do you win with women? I'd say that if you want to have meaningful relationships with anyone, women or otherwise, you can't frame relationships in the form of a competition. A relationship is doomed the moment it's viewed as something to be won. How did you finely tune your behavior? I'd argue that I didn't. I was lucky enough to find a w… | /r/MGTOW | 10/11/17 05:16 PM
