I'm not denying that a good facial structure and/or attractiveness helps, but it's not like you're fucked if you lack both of those things.

Have you spoken to actual women about this? This sounds like you're making a generalization, which I think you are. Because I can't apply this to any of the women I know.

I think it's a personal matter: I don't see my partner being physically unattractive (either to me or to others) as an issue. As long as there is chemistry, comunication and mutual feelings for each other, it can develop into a long term relationship. I don't know how common this thinking is, since I'm speaking for me. If you wouldn't have a long term relationship with someone you find unattractive, then that's how it works with you. Though, you mentioned a study about sex (I assume casual sex),…

Honestly, I don't know about this. I'm not denying you actually did your research, since the study makes sense: though I don't think a study about hookups tells you much about emotional, committed relationships. What do you mean, exactly, for "women who wouldn't sleep with men"? If you're looking for sex, of course you're going to turn down people that you find unattractive, because this is all sex comes down to: sexual attraction. If you aren't sexually attracted to someone, you're going to ref…

I don't know much about anyone's situation here, but I see (conventionally, of course) unattractive people in relationships and even marriages. First of all, I'd say attractiveness can be subjective (even though there are some well-defined social standards, like height for men and some facial details): a lot of women are into men that are taller than them, but I also see short women who would be uncomfortable with a man that's way taller, some even prefer men that are shorter. Glasses: some wome…

Hey, this sub got me curious even though I have nothing to do with it, and I came across your comment. I mostly agree, if it wasn't for one thing. Employing sex workers is inherently harmful, most of them (80 %) actually want out: they feel stripped of their dignity and their value as an human being, expecially the moment some random man pays to, basically, rape them. If the act was truly consensual, the client wouldn't have to pay for sexual service: to be fair, there wouldn't be a client/prost…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
