Maybe it's the way he mocks her speech and presentation but I don't get the impression he politely asked a question. The setup with Home Depot and follow up "got ya" question seems inappropriate. I'd simply ask, like I always do, "do you think overall revenues might have an impact on individual salaries?"

Oh, the mother is terrible and letting that rhetoric stick in a kids brain isn't helping their growth. But you don't combat that by demeaning and belittling the misinformed kid. Making fun of the kids speech and presentation really shows the lack of desire to inform.

It didn't attack men. It highlighted a pay difference and rather than be an adult and politely explain some other reasons than gender bias this person belittled and embarrassed a child and continues to in the post, mocking her language and presentation. Pathetic.
