It doesn't even have to be about protection, if she isn't attracted to him, she shouldn't date him. You can't force yourself to be attracted to someone.

I know! I just think it's stupid and unfair. Lose ten years by stabbing an attacker vs losing your entire life is an easy choice.

Fuuuck I'm so sorry you're dealing with that. When I was a teenager my neighbor put a camera out his window pointing into ours to watch my mom and I. They're sick and twisted. I want to buy a house and put a big wall around it. Privacy film on all windows. Lights, locks, alarms, cameras.

These points are so good. I really do think it's a personal responsibility thing to keep yourself fit and strong. You are more capable that way. I also run a lot, and it makes me feel safer knowing I can run a reasonable distance quickly. I wish weapons were legal in my country. You can't carry anything for self defense, and if you injure someone in self defense you will be charged.

Yeah, like are women not allowed to have regrets? Negative sexual experiences? Things you just don't want to do again. This whole line of reasoning treats women like sex machines who are obligated to give whatever their partner wants.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
