Idk how this is a comeback to the original tweet lmao. Wtf does the governor have to do with desiring a female president? Feminist whatever aside, it’s just not a good comeback. “I wish I had a (male) waiter. The employee serving the table next to us is a waiter.” It makes no sense.

Dude, the national team clearly isn’t capable or deserving of attention if as professionals they’re beat by a squad of 15 year old amateurs. The implication here addresses the arguments and concerns that female sports teams don’t get as much attention. Well, as a counterpoint, when the standard for quality isn’t met, do female teams deserve attention? This post implies a certain level of skill to earn critical acclaim. If a team does not have that, regardless of gender, then they do not get watc…

No. I don’t think that should ever be the case. The implication in that phrase is that gender norms are unique to sex and stagnant. Attitudes, values, and roles shouldn’t be attributed on the basis of sex. They should instead be expected as the standard for an upstanding citizen, family member, community member, etc, regardless of sex.

What your experiencing is a man’s refusal to perpetuate a myth and initiate its debunking. That myth is that women aren’t responsible for their actions because of “hormones.” The same liberties aren’t extended to men even though we’re equally hormonal, and with this growing movement toward an egalitarian society, these social attitude tweaks are very much needed. The OP of that post immediately victimized herself as if all men weren’t already appreciative of the fact women give birth. The other …

I don’t think any sex knows what the other sex goes through. And it’s annoying to have to placate women in nearly every social instance. I agree with the guy who posted this 100%. If we’re moving toward an egalitarian society, then women need to take more responsibility for their actions and face up to criticism and confrontation without expecting the infamous “pussy pass.” I expect the same of men.
