If your mom was here. Knowing all she knows about you. What do you think she’d say? Fortunately I had my mom at the decision to separate. It was super weird. Mom felt she had all this planned. I asked to come home. My mom looked at me and said no. I need to process tonight. I was shocked. And in hindsight, taught me a fast lesson. First. My mom never ever said no to me. I was always the good child. No trouble. And thinking you go. You don’t. What I learned, if I left. I’d lose leverage in the di…

@fan_of_sanity I felt all of this. What you wrote. This was me. Around this time last year. Although asked for separation until formal request came in November. And OP. It’s hard now. You’ll eventually bottom out. Maybe, honesty is not what you are looking for but I feel you need it. If no pity. It’s to know this. All your feelings. The turmoil. The pain. It will end my friend. One thing to not stop. Talking. Talk about it as often as possible. Dont have a therapist? Find one. Have one, are they…

Shit dude. It took her leaving to realize what the fuck I tolerated to happen. When it transpired. I looked back and asked myself. What the fuck did I just allow. Granted. They I knew, don’t go back. But I lost my self worth. Yes, it was because I didn’t want to lose the 24 hour access to kids. Had I know it would happen. I’d if left in ‘22 when she told me then she didn’t want to be with me.

Shit dude. The woman I married is not the woman I’m divorcing. Two separate people.

I know that was the downfall of mine. Social media and a bad group of supporting cast she’s surrounded herself with.

Sober English? I’m sober, sir. I was just saying. My ex asked for a separation. Then 6 months later. A divorce. Then a month later, dating a woman who couldn’t change the wiper blades. I agree. He needs his own shit. I worked two jobs for many years to support the family. All I gave. Didn’t matter. I feel for OP. My ex tried to force the open relationship concept. I wasn’t having it. I’m not a cuck.

You fucking hilarious. What if she left me for a woman? And a woman, in her words, dating a dike that can’t do dike things. It was just changing the wiper blades. There’s YouTube videos.

The mourning of the future. I share your pain. I was once it that area not long ago. You put in so much and plan and go above and beyond that you self sacrifice. Only to be let go. I’m not really seeing anyone. Best of luck there. I’m hesitant on it. Like trying to find someone even remotely interesting and interested. I’ve still got much to do for myself. But talking to these people, well, defeated.

In hindsight, I should’ve filed. I’m glad she chose. I’m glad she wanted to leave. I didn’t want to end it and it was because it was convenient. The norm. Used too. Looking back. I lost me. My worth and tolerated being treated like shit.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
