I suspect that a large majority of people start with a viewpoint based on feelings and then look for justifications for their views. In general, people will skew information in whatever way they need in order to maintain their alignment, whether that means ignoring evidence to the contrary or supplying evidence that is flawed. 5	I was ordering at an Applebee's and a female employee flirted with me. When I told her I was gay, she deliberately spilled my soda and called me a fag. A kind patron recorded the thing and told the manager. The manager came by and apologized and said that the female employee will be fired. He should be allowed to exist without being persecuted. The rights of gay people are no less important That being so, his experience is not limited to gay men.
